Complaint Review: Rush Farms Sheila Rush - Ulman Missouri

Rush Farms in Ulman, MO. is Very careful who ends up adopting a puppy or dog from us. We check references as well, just as "Annette" checked with our vet's practice to insure the health of the puppy ( Slider ) we had available that was Sale Pending to her. Of course, Slider was perfect, but After much thought, we found it best to not allow the puppy to be adopted to Annette. Slider was thus sold to a former Newfie owner/home in Illinois. "Annette" was given her deposit back, less shipping/handling charges....What any reputable breeder would do. Thanks everyone.

My cousin put a deposit down on one of Shelia Rush's Puppie's before Easter of 2010.. My cousin paid the deposit to hold the puppy.. When I was told that my cousin was purchasing a puppy I gave her some sound infomation about breeders from Missouri and how a lot of them run puppie mills...

I told my cousin about my ordeal/hell with a breeder from Missouri who sold me puppies that were sick and cost me over $500.00 to get them well..

My cousin called up this Shelia Rush and asked Ms Rush for the phone number to the  vet she has taken her puppie's my cuz wanted to ask ms rush's vet about the health of ms rush's puppies 

Ms Rush then told my cuz that she did not want one of her puppies to go to someone who thought she was untrustworthy.. Ms Rush than said that she would refund the deposit Less the shipping and handling ...

Ms Rush Needs to refund the whole deposit to my cuz due to the fact that my cuz did not break the contract it was this Rush woman who did.

so any one wanting to purchase a puppie from this woman go to her home to see what kind of condition her animals have to live in and what other animals does she own.....

To this date 19 April 2010. Ms Rush's refund $$$$$ has not made it back to my cuz .

Beware to anyone wanting to buy any puppies from a breader you can not visit in person!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a lot of research and consideration of numerous breeders, I got my scottie "Duffy" at the Rush Farm last summer.   I have never before had to jump through as many hoops as I had to for them... but that was good.   They had me fill out an application in detail and so that they could ascertain that the puppy would be given a good home.   I was very impressed with their care of the puppies and I have bought numerous dogs over the years from "breeders".   Our scottie dog is of the very best stock,  we are continually thrilled and impressed at what a great scottie he is and how healthy he is.   We are scottie people and very particular.   We had four different scotties prior to Duffy and know what to look for.    Mrs. Rush was great to us,  so nice, so accomodating.   I look at their website all the time considering if I should get Duffy a friend.   I wouldn't go anywhere else now,  I'm spoiled.   I would highly recommend the Rush Farm to anybody looking for a healthy, well-cared for pupppy and who like to shop at a place with high standards.    Rush Farms is a cut above!!

Dear "Angie" or whoever you Claim to be.... Your last post is much improved in regards to your English spelling skills. Only 1 word wrong this time. Our spelling lesson today is: Lying Please repeat 10 times. Please put on HERE the AKC registration number or litter number, DOB, the puppy's color and who the sire & dam of your puppy is. Because until you can come up with that evidence NO ONE will believe you. Post it here Please, Please, Please. Also Puppyfind.com KEEPS all negative Reviews posted on their site if you, the puppy purchaser can prove that we really did correspond via email and if you will fax or email the vet records to them. Gosh, looks like you surely would have done this by now? Or at least contact me or have your vet contact my vets? After this so called $3,000 vet surgery, on a 5 month old puppy..... if the puppy isn't better I'd say your vet goofed. If this puppy really exists or did exist, why have you not given myself a Review on Puppyfind for all to see? If there are Many others I have violated, why are you the ONLY one posting? Again, Why are you wasting your time? Ohh..I forget you are jealous and have no life. I will Agree the state of Missouri is a True Puppymill state. If I didn't have family ties here, I'd be in Crawford, Texas! Also, there are Missouri puppy lemon laws to protect puppy purchasers. But you knew that right? Fortunately, there are responsible show/hobby people living here in Missouri like myself to counterbalance some of the negativity. My breedings are done for Myself...not others. It is done Only For the future of My program. I don't breed for Sue, Larry or Moe. I breed for what I want, for attributes I want to continue on in my lines I've had for 18 plus years. Woozers! Yes! I have had my Saint and Newfies lines for 18 Years and still trotting along! I'm glad you have been able to see dogs as nice or nicer than mine. Of course there are nicer dogs out there. That only seems to be bothering You. Some have devoted their whole adult lives to the betterment of the breeds. I'm only 18.5 years into it... To have Great dogs means breeders are doing their homework and producing dogs we can be proud of. That's wonderful news. I haven't produced the Perfect Newfie, Saint or Scottie yet. When I do, I will let the world know. ( For you in Rio Linda, that means the perfect dog doesn't exist!) Anyway, I've got to go work with our Russia... I've always been told if someone does well and succeeds, give 1 person enough time or a chance and they'll try to slime you. Well Sheila, it's obvious with your show wins and beautiful puppies you produce, someone is wanting to do just that. No surprise on who that person is. My Very good guess is: C. H. of Lebanon, MO. Who I did inquire about her dogs, and she was jumping at the chance to sell me anything, ASAP. Not Sheila though. I was quizzed on the phone and filled out an "adoption" application. She was never mean or hateful, just very concerned on the type of home I would provide. These are living, lovable puppies, not used cars. I'm just glad I bought from Sheila. My Newfie is from her 2006 litter with River & Whitney. Sassy is a wonderful family pet, healthy and confident since the day we brought her home in Sept, 2006. Never had any hip, heart or temperment concerns. She weighs 138 pounds and our vet states she is one of the best "big dogs" he gets to see at his practice. Keep on Keeping On Sheila!

This woman can lie all she wants about where she had sold her dogs and to whom she has sold them to. I am sure that I am not the only one that she has done this to. She wants to say that she didnt have any puppies at that time last year well I have the AKC papers to prove that she did. She has puppies all the time. Also to her so called reviews on Puppyfind.com more than 90% of them are fake. Anyone can see for theirselfs. Just click on the name of the reviewer and try to contact them. Over 1/2 of them will come back as a fake or unknown address which means you can and do write your own reviews. It is Pathetic that you think someone would be jealous of you or your dogs. I have seen lot of dogs that are just as nice if not nicer than yours. I should have know that Missouri was known for the puppymill Capital of the US and buying a dog from this state that I was asking for trouble. Anyone can contact me at ............ and I can fax documents to prove that I am not lieng and that I am indeed a real person not a fake person as Sheila is trying to claim. I am sure that I am not the only one that has had issues with this person nor will I be the last but I will not let you get away with this one. Also the other so called review left was also left by Sheila.

There is no such puppy that had hip surgery at 5 months. There is no such Angie from Tulsa, OK. This is a fake review written by an angry, vindictive person who is So jealous of Sheila and her family and the good job they do with their Dogs. Sheila works Very, Very hard giving her dogs the best care possible. Her health clearances go beyond any normal breeder by far and she would never not stand behind her guarantees. Why would she? It would only be degrading to the hard effort she's done for 18 years. Sheila didn't even have a litter at the time this pup was supposed to be born. Get a life Big Paws.

I'm not sure who Angie from Tulsa, OK is BUT she did not buy a puppy from Sheila Rush of Rush Farms in Ulman, MO. 65083 whom I am. I have not sold any person a puppy in Tulsa, OK. The only puppy I have sold to the State of OK. is to a family in Blanchard, OK. and that puppy is 14 weeks old as of now, 6-19-08. Also correct spelling of my name is Sheila, not Shelia. Also correct spelling of displaysa is Dysplasia. Also correct spelling of geting is getting. Also correct spelling of diffrent is different. Also correct spelling of deffects is defects. This is a fake Rip Off Report. Someone must have alot of extra time to think of ways to try and defame little ole' me! Please see our website. Yes we show and sparingly breed AKC Champion Newfies, Scotties and St Bernards. We do a Great job, and I have always decided if you are going to do something, Do It to the Best of your God given Ability. We feed Eukanuba & Pro Plan products, along with the BARF diet. The dogs do very well and all have Fabulous coats. No Mange here, nor human scabies. My babies and adults have wonderful, full coats. A 5 month old puppy having hip surgery is VERY odd and it has never happened to one of my puppies, ever. Our 5 children exhibit our show cattle, the Gelbvieh breed from Germany and are very successful at it. The horses are another Expensive hobby we have been involved with since 1989...Jackie Bee bred foundation QH's and Friesians. We raise a handful of colts and it's been 2 years since I sold a foal. We are a small hobby/show kennel in central MO established in 1990 on 450 plus acres of MO farmland with currently 3 St Bernards, 7 Newfies and 4 Scottish Terriers. I have been a member of the SBCA ( St Bernard Club of America) for 18 years in good standing & also the HOASBC. My dogs are groomed weekly by myself.... I don't hire it to be done and we spend thousands on showing, supplies and food. I do offer a 2 year written genetic guarantee and do stand behind all my dogs. If something would happen to go wrong genetically, you can be dang sure it would be made right. There's just no other way to be, at least not for me.... I do OFA certifications for SAS & CERF, along with Hip & sometimes Elbow, also Thyroid testing, and vWD. I work closely with our vets, and they see my dogs on a regular basis. Since we live just 68 miles south of the University of Missouri Veterinary School, I have their extreme expertise to help guide our program as well. I don't wing it or fly blind when it comes to my dogs' welfare. I have a opinion on who wrote this untrue report, She is a jealous person that will never have a puppy of my breeding. She also still can not spell words correctly, maybe her "Big Paws" keep her from typing correctly?
