This Company calls and advertises themselves as Rx Financial. The promise you a credit card, not a merchandise or catalog card with a minimum credit line of $3000 and up to $5000. They say you were referred to them by a credit card company they work with to give you a second chance at credit. They charge $219.90 ($189.95 + $29.95) to send you an information packet containing information how to select one of the credit cards you are garunteed to get from one of 150 banks. they want to draft this ammount from a checking acount.

During their "verification recording" they say they send you information on how to APPLY for the cards, then the rep assures you that your are garunteed to receive the card. They won't give you their customer service number until after you have authorized charge and all. They also tell you you can get the 189.95 back if you are did satisfied for any reason. Then on their Verification Recording... they say you MAY be eligible for a refund.

Their website, http://www.rxfin.com contains nothing about their credit card program. The Who is Registration information is...

If you call that phone number you get some marketing company that says they handle customer service for Rx Financial and other companies.

If this Legit? I don't know. The customer service rep I Called at that number says it is. But i mean shes paid by them. She says you are Garunteed to receive 1 credit card from 96 choices. Some have fees some do not. You are told on the phone NO FEES.

The old addage if it seems too good to be true it probably is is pretty hard to live by these days. You are paranoid to order a book off the internet now. Even legit offers seem scary. Maybe this is legit. In a time of Financial hardship... I almost went for it... but my gut said no. So far it has kept me safe.

IF ANYONE read this, tries it, and is succesfull... PLEASE let the rest of us know. I just have a feeling no shrewd person will.
