I originally signed up with rxpop.com to help my son alleviate his high prescription costs. There was a one time membership fee of $25.00 and then you supposed to be able to find discounted prescriptions through pharmacies such as Costco. Once I was logged in as a member I did a search on the drug I was looking for and noticed that rxpop.com listed four pharmacies that supposedly carried it. When I tried to purchase the prescription through the first pharmacy it would tell me that there was nothing found for that particular medicine; this was the case with the other three pharmacies that were listed by rxpop.com

I immediately looked for a telephone number to cancel my subscription with rxpop.com, but to no avail; they have no telephone number. I sent an e-mail requesting my money back and they e-mailed back saying that they were not going to refund my money, but that as a favor to me they would cancel my membership.

I assumed I was done dealing with them until I noticed a new charge of $28.98 that had been automatically taken out of my account by rxpop.com the following month! I again sent an e-mail notifying them that they my membership had been canceled and that they needed to refund the money to me. Again I was met with the same response as the first time: We cannot refund your money, but we will cancel your membership!

I thought I hit the jackpot when I found their telephone number on my online bank statement, but it was just a recording that wanted you to leave your e-mail address. I immediately called the bank and reported fraudulent activity on my account. They told me that I can dispute the charge, which is exactly what I plan on doing.

This company needs to be shut down! I'm very computer savvy and am disappointed in myself for not checking this company out first, but I really feel bad for elderly people, or people that do not possess a large amount of computer knowledge that will be scammed by this company.

What can we do to stop them??
