Complaint Review: Ryan Gensler - Internet

Hello All,

I am sorry if you are finding this report later than sooner and have already fallen victim to Ryan Gensler. My story with Ryan starts over a year ago and I admittedly feel very dumb about falling into this scam as I have tried to do business with him 2 times. Ryan offers a service, a service that you pay anywhere from $250 - $1xxx for a return value of closed leads. For instance. The first one I paid $1000 and the last time was $1250 for a return of $5000 and $6000 respectively in closed leads and I would throw him some monthly income off the closed clients since my business is based on monthly payments. (I paid the 2 x $500 with PayPal) Ryan was very persistent with excuses and reasons why he couldn't close business within the 1 month time period he set. Also, after asking for a refund after a month he would push it back as long as he could. He would say he had something about to close and give him a little longer. The first time he got me to buy it took about 2 months to get my funds back and I had to file a dispute through PayPal. The second time it took a similar amount of time and I had to file a dispute with that one as well. 

After the first two encounters, we ceased business and continued to be friendly online as much as possible. Earlier this year Ryan came to me multiple times for a different kind of way to make money. He said that his partner of his business took out most of the money from their PayPal to buy a house and that litigation was ongoing. He said he was going to have his clients that were paying through PayPal send me the money and I would send it to him via Walmart-to-Walmart. I was completely sketched out at first and felt really shady based on our first two encounters. He is a very good salesman and good at telling you what you want to hear. He said he would give me some of the income and send him the bulk of the other monies to him. I asked him repeatedly if the services were rendered and the money was clean. He insisted that both would completely veracious and I had nothing to worry about.

Being that I have 2 children and him knowing about my current situation I was in with battling for full-custody of my children. I could use every dollar I could get so I took the bait. I did this 4 times. I received a little off the top and I forwarded the rest of the cash to him directly via Walmart-to-Walmart. Then the fun starts... I started to receive multiple chargebacks. In fact, every single transaction was charge backed to my account. The first chargeback was resolved by paying him his refund that Ryan agreed to from my PayPal and didn't mention until the claim was filed. The others have since hit my account and I cannot open a PayPal account. The one I had I have built up and used for years. Now I have to save up the money to pay everyone back.

He first sold me on his main service which was locking down closed leads that I paid him $1250 for $6000 of work. He said he already had them set up and he was going to come through this time. He had specific names of the potential clients and very detailed information on each gig. So, I went for the gamble. Again, this is my own stupidity for continuing trying business with the man. He insisted he was doing everything in my best interest and even mentioned that my kids would benefit greatly. So, I trusted him once more. I paid him the $1250 via Walmart-to-Walmart since there was no other apparent method of payment he could accept. It has now been months again and I have once again asked for a refund. 

He has come up with every excuse in the book to not pay me and continues to do so to this very day. He has only paid me $250 of the refund back and I have to bug him all day to get a reply on the other funds. My worry is that he is doing this to other people and I am receiving money from others that are falling prey to his scam. I have been in contact with the others that have filed chargebacks and they have not received the services Ryan Gensler said he would provide. One I know has filed reports with the FBI and with local authorities where he lives. Others have also mentioned their story with Ryan Gensler and said he told them I was his partner. The guy is a con-artist and deserves a little time in the light so everyone can see who he is. 

Again, it’s by my own poor volition that this has happened but it does not change the overbearing fact that Ryan Gensler is a con-man and will continue to do so until someone stands up. I hope you find this before you conduct business and him explain this story. He knows exactly who wrote it because I told him I was going to write it. He said, “Don’t f**k with me”. I inquired what he had in mind if I continued with the report and he said, “You’re about to find out.” So please, for your business and your own mental sanity. Stay as far away as you can from Ryan Gensler. Ryan has been found guilty of embezzlement. You can also find other accounts of his fraudulent behaviors from other customers on Reddit.
