What kind of job would you have to PAY YOUR EMPLOYER? That should of been your first warning sign... No reputable business needs the employees to pay them.

Hi Heather,
I am a regional manager for Safety Enterprises, and have been with this company for almost nine years. I want to start by saying that I absolutely love my job.
Judging from your letter you never really understood what you were getting into. You say you went in for an interview and talk about sitting through our orientation. Then you say at your training class we "hit you with you have to sell their product." If you had been paying attention in your orientation that would not have been a surprise.
I don't know how you got the idea that there would be a test at the end of the class and whoever scored the highest would get their money back. In nine years I have never heard that one.
I cannot stress enough that the deposit is explained during the interview. It is also detailed how and when it is refundable. At training class you signed a contract which also stated how it was refundable in bold, underlined, capital letters. It is refundable upon completion of the training. It is also refundable upon hitting an incentive during your first week. It is not refundable upon quitting.
Whenever you start a new job, whatever it may be, you should always understand the work that is expected of you before you agree to sign on for it.
It kills me when someone like Heather talks bad about this company because the very same company has done so much for myself and so many people across this country. The difference I guess comes down to who is willing to do the work.
