Salon Belissimo Rachel Williams and Stefania Florido MY BIGGEST REGRET independence Missouri
Just I don't even know where to begin as I don't normally take time to write things like this. After experiencing what we all did I feel it is so important to give you my feedback to protect all of you.
We found Rachel and Stefania thorugh Facebook.......we were actually referred to another artist first, but was contacted by Stefania and told if we would choose her and her partner she would do the tiral run for free. That should have been the first indicator that something was not ok when the other artist was referred so majy times.
As the maid of honor, I didnt have much say, so the brides choice was what it was. The day of the wedding was all done within the timeline promised so I won't complin about that. HOWEVER, as someone who is licensed myself here are the things that happended that I MUST warn you about:
1. Rachel used the same mascara on multiple clients. Whe I aksed her anout it, she said "sorry, I ran out of disposable wands, you all are friends right"
2. There was no cleaning of brushes in between each of us and one of my friends, God love her, had bad acne. That is a bacteria that can be spread.
3. When our hair was styled by the partner, Stefania, I asked her why they didn't clean the brushes between clients, she tod me "girl ya'll are goos, none of you have anything crazy right lol" And yet I know sanitation is key when it comes to things like cleaning face and hair brushes.
4. They also spent more time talking about things that had nithing to do with the bride. I don't mind hearing about thier personal life, but honestly, this was my friends day, and the focus should have been on the bride.
The hair and makeup were nice and we all would say based on apperance, they did ok, HOWEVER, I worry about the safety of another bride and party with their lack of sanitary practices. Hope you find this helpful. I perosnally would not reccomend them to anyone!
