Sam Swope BMW Deceptive - Did not provide 2nd $400 key and did not fix what was promised. Louisville Kentucky
I bought a Certified Pre-owned BMW from Sam Swope. The car had a small dent in the hood, a small chip on the windshield, and a small paint chip. I received written confirmation (on an IOU form) that these issues would be corrected.
After signing the paperwork, the salesman couldn't find the second key and told me he would find me one as I was bringing the car back in a couple of weeks to have the small issues corrected. I returned with the car and IOU and left it for the day. When I returned, the salesman didn't have the key and said he's would "get me a deal". I didn't think I really needed "a deal" as BMW requires a full set of keys for all certified cars. He walked me to the service counter and asked the parts guy to give me his discount which was $100 off a $400 key. I was furious, but calmly said no and walked back to service to pick up my car.
To my surprise, nothing was corrected, I now had a $3000 quote in my hand for a new windshield because they "don't fix chips", and my IOU had magically disappeared.
