Sammy's Woodfire Pizza Ripoff deceptive interviewing La Jolla California
This report is ong overdue but I must state the facts as i best remember it. I was invited into a first interview by sammy woodfire pizza located in la jolla downtown. During the course of the interview actually the end which seemed to be going ok he informed me that the position i was applying for was no longer available. WAIT A MINUTE !! WHY AM I HERE THEN? he proceeded to tell me that they wanted me as a cashier and move up into that position. i never would have agreed beacause that was my previous job and this was supposssed to be a step up with responsiblility better pay and benefits, etc..
I understand job screeners and managers are trying to find out who is serious during a job interview but lying about a current postyion is not cool at all. this one manager in my profesional opinion should be fired. Interview techniqyues like this are very stupid and misleading. it was a good company with good food but after that initial interview it left a bad taste in my mouth.
