My Samsung dishwasher stoped working and a very quick google search shows that i am not alone with this issue.

I reached out to Samsung via twitter and they responsed almost straight away which was were the good service ended.

They sent round a tech who could not fix it so they sent the same tech who replaced 3 parts and could not fix it so they sent the same tech who replaced the same 3 parts and could not fix is so they sent the same tech who replaced 3 parts and could not fix it (do you see a pattern here?)

After a month Samsung finally agreed (after much arm twisting) that the dishwasher was not repairable and we moved to the next steps.

Days passed and after many attempts i was finally contacted by "executive customer service" who asked me for a copy of the original reciept.  Days passed again and it turns out that the next steps was a refund (less a small fee) and Samsung could wash their hands of it.  it was up to me to purchase and install a new dishwasher

Days passed again and i received an email that they were giving me a refund and asking me to accept the offer, although there was no offer amount in the email.

the problem i have is:

1.  Samsung admit the dishwasher is faulty

2.  When you purchase kitchen appliances you often (as we did) buy as a set to get a matching set and a better deal.  the verbal amount offered would not even cover the cost of purchasing the same model

3.  I already paid to have it installed once and now it has broken i have to pay to get a new one installed?

4.  Samsung really don't stand by their products.  If it breaks, replace it not pretend it did not happen.

5.  Support was Poor.  from shouting policy over my complaints to claiming that i never sent in the receipt that they requested.  Samsung seem to forget that when you interact with them over twitter and email technologuy keeps track of those interactions
