It doesn't matter when you bought the tickets, it matters what time you showed at the theatre to grab a seat. That time of year, with kids out of school, its bound to be busier. As I stated before, when you have a largish group, you should get there with plenty of time to spare. It must have close to showtime if there no groups of 5 seats together. By the way, I don't work in a theatre, but i do enjoy visiting them. I am quite curious as to what in my post led you to believe that I was an employee?

You sound like you are a movie theatre employee, there is another theatre near this one over by easton, I cant remember the name. It is state of the art, best movie place in Columbus. They are even nice to you when you have a problem. Trust me Movie 16 is second rate.

Maybe next time you go to the movies as a party of five people, you should try to get there a little earlier. You must have gotten there pretty late for there to have been no seats left together. Besides, how many people did you expext the manager to move so that you guys could sit together? If I was in that theatre and you asked me to move, I don't think i would have. p.s who takes a two year old to see marley and me?
