Was conned into staying overnight for heartburn chest indigestion. I explained to the patient caseworker that I have no insurance and was told not to worry about the cost and I can make small monthly payments. All lies !!!!! See above. $22,000 bill then special 30 day deal $11,000 and the speacial of the day .... $5,000. They would not putt this in writing. It is a scam offer only offered over the phone thru a so called patient advocate. They wont even discuss the amount in an email. They dont want to leave a trail of lies, very slick hucksters.I asked several times all I get is the original amount $22,000 in the mail. DO NOT TRUST THE PATIENT CASEWORKERS AT SMH.

First off - what are you going to the ER for heartburn?? And how did they "con" you?? You were free to leave at anytime AMA. Just sign the papers and go. ER is for major medical problems therefore you are to be charged for their time, medication, Dr visits, EKG etc etc. Don't have insurance?? Sign up for Medicaid if you are low income. They did their job with precautions to make sure you were not having a serious heart issue. And NO I do not work for them.
