I looked up and researched the largest and what I believed to be the most reputable dating service in Florida. I knew a friend of a friend who had gone into this company (Sarasota location) and met with one of their personal matchmakers. She had good things to say about the company. Apparently she met some guys she didn't like but was very happy when she met Paul, the 6'3 blonde hair blue eyed super sweet business owner they introduced her to.
After listening to my friend day after day talk about how happy her friend was and how much meeting her love had changed her life, I decided to contact them to go in and see for myself. Keep in mind, my friend is an attractive woman. She has a great job, no kids, she works out regularly....I have NO IDEA why she couldn't have met someone good on her own....but for whatever reason she couldn't and didn't. Maybe she was too picky.
Now, I know I am not as pretty, I don't have a good job, my credit is terrible....but I do NOT believe I should have been turned down by Sarasota Singles! Who do they think they are!? They said they don't accept people into their program who have a bad attitude! I was highly offended and told them I would be filing a report to let the whole world know what I THINK OF THEM!!!!! I have not had a relationship in over 10 years and believe it is their job to help me! They should not have turned me away.
As I walked out the door the "Matchmaker lady" told me she wished me the best and she hoped if my attitude changed that they could possibly help me. What a bunch of BS....my friend has someone wonderful in her life and I am STILL alone! If you want the matchmakers help to meet someone nice you better act nice when you go in. If they sense you are cynical or someone their nice clients won't want to meet they will turn you away.
