S.A.S Agency contact me from a modeling profile.

The girl was Tamara she asked me to come by the studio so they can interview me and if they like me they will sign me. I also asked her if I will need to pay anything Tamara said no!!!

So I went the Guy Shawn said he wanted to sign me, that I would need to pay for my comp cards, (zed cards) I was fine with that only because I know other agency make there models pay for zed cards making sure they want to model.

Well after 2 weeks they never called me! I wrote them e-mails and told them I wanted a refund of my money they ignored me. I then contacted BBB 6 month later, wrote a report and this is that they said.

"Initial Response - Posted 8-1-2006

Company states as mentioned by the customer she was due a credit of $242.00 which was issued through transaction id #1148809275. That is all the credit that the customer is due. The remainder of her return was used as an exchange. See the attached store policy section regarding "exchanges can be returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY". Also, claiming her money was held hostage, is pretty exaggerated. View our store policies to see that shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. We have already issued her $242.00 credit to the credit card. And she currently has a store credit of $52.00 with no expiration date. This should resolve the matter.

Initial Response Summary

We have already issued her $242.00 credit to the credit card. And she currently has a store credit of $52.00 with no expiration date. "

1st of I didnt use a credit card, I used a DEBT CARD I have proof!!

As I wrote them this back

"regarding the last response I received from SAS agency, I didn't use a credit card, I used a debt card and that doesn't show a full refund, I would like a copy of the refund so I can show my bank. I am concerned about the concept of a "store credit"...this is a modeling agency, and they do not sell anything that would make sense to use a credit for."

I never herd from them again they closed the case. Im just feed up with them I want my money back I dont want them to get away with this.

Also I looked up the girl Tamara on myspace and this is what I got from her blog.

SAS AGENCY SCAMM

SINCE I WAS THREATENED BY SAS AGENCY (AKA SHAWN ANTHONY) AND HIS LIES OF ME STEALING MAKEUP (WHICH I HAD PROOF WITH RECIEPTS THAT WHAT I HAVE IS MINE BUT HES TOO COCKY TO SEE MY PROOF AND LOVES DRAMA...SCARED HES GETTING DISCOVERED)

HE MADE UP THIS STORY ABOUT ME STEALING MAKEUP ONLY BECAUSE I FOUND TRUTH BEHIND HIM AND HE HAD TO MAKE SOMETHING UP TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE THE BAD PERSON....BUT WHEN I HAD PROOF HE DOES NOT WANT TO SEE AND STILL GIVES ME MANY THREATS. HE THREATENED ME TO NOT TO CONTINUE TELLING THE TRUTH OF MY KNOWLEDGE SO I TOOK IT DOWN SOME OPINIONS EVEN THO THEIR THEATS MEAN NOTHING AND THEY CANT ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY "TRUE OPINIONS" TO MY FRIENDS. ANYWAY GIVE ME A CALL OR WRITE TO ME TO KNOW HOW TO HELP YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE BEEN DECIEVED TOO....

THIS IS A FRIEND ONLY BLOG AND AN OPINION PAGE WHICH MAKES ALL MY STATEMENTS LEGAL UNDER MANY CIRCUMSTANCES EXPECIALLY UNDER MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH....ESPECIALLY SINCE I TELL THE TRUTH AND ONLY THE TRUTH......

THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

BECAREFUL BECAUSE THEY ARE ALSO USING A PROFILE WITH MY FACE CLAIMING FALSE TESTIMONIES. BEWARE. ANY PROFILE WITH A SAS BACKGROUND OR LINK FALSE. IT IS PART OF THEIR SCAM."

As you can tell this girl got me to pay 100 for my zed cards and SAS end up doing something to her. I want the hole world to see this. that sas is a ripp off and I wont ever stop telling this, till I get my refund and more after waiting over a YEAR!

This Statement From Fired Employee is Not True

I work for SAS Agency, and SAS Studios, in California, and I know the true story behind this post. I know your name is not Amanda, it is Tamara Burk. I also know that you were fired for stealing makeup, and to top it all off, Mr. Shawn Anthony did not have the heart to see you be arrested, after seeing you in the back of a cop car crying when he drove up to one of his locations in Newport Beach, California. All of the other employees wanted you to be sent to jail for what you did to their office, and I can clearly see why they wanted to see you arrested after all of the negative stuff you've tried on the internet. The sad part is that you tried to tear down a Christian who works on Christian movies when you now work in a strip club. Hmm...if there is over 3,000 people in the agency and only a few negative articles....you do the math! I will pray for you.

I was "recruited" by one of their employees and spent $350 on the photoshoot and $250 on the zed cards. I still have the bogus receipts the wrote up to prove this. I was 18 and freshly out of high school. I had a part time job and paid for this service with my own hard-earned cash. They charged me $50 extra for a "make up artist" who was not qualified and worked as their receptionist. She did an awful job and I was really unhappy with the work. The photoshoot was a joke, and very unprofessional. My photographer looked like he was still in college and was an extremely shady character. After the shoot was over, they had me sit at their computer and choose the pictures I wanted for my zed card. They sent me on my way and told me they would be contacting me when my zed cards came. Three months passed and I got impatient so I contacted them and they said that the cards would be arriving "next week". Funny that I hadn't heard from them for 3 months and the week I call just happens to be the week prior to when the cards were arriving. Of course, I was never contacted the following weeks. After harassing them for weeks and weeks (if not MONTHS) via email and phone calls (for awhile their number was disconnected), I eventually gave up. I made a couple trips down to their "studio" in Newport beach and only found an empty abandoned warehouse. The guy who looked like Jack Black (I'm assuming it's this Shawn character everyone's talking about because I forgot his name) is a very savvy smooth talker and assured me multiple times that I was in good hands and talked for days about how reputable their agency was, but don't be fooled. ALWAYS DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE HANDING OVER ANY MONEY. It was through SAS STUDIOS that I learned how NOT to be taken advantage of. If an agency is really reputable, they will never asked you for any money. They will invest their own time and money into you and then take a commission from the money the believe you could make. I am now into my 3rd year of college and have no idea how to recoup my $600 from these people... They have absolutely no morals and the worst customer service. I have never felt so taken advantage of before by a company. They were extremely unprofessional, and my only hope is that I can help avoid this misfortune for others who are susceptible to their deception. To SAS: If I ever get my FULL refund, then I will be more than happy to clear your name on here. Otherwise, I will do my very best to take this company down. If you are another victim of this company and share the same story as myself, please send your story to (((email redacted))). I am a law student at USC and am currently in the process of building a class-action lawsuit against them.
