You bought a used car with over 80,000 miles knowing it had previous transmission problems that had been repaired free by Saturn 2 times, once out of warranty. You are not a customer of Saturn as you didn't buy it from them. It's not their responsibility to repair a car with 122,000 miles.

Please note that I filed my own Rip-off Report against the Saturn Corporation and put two videos out on You Tube. "I'll Never Buy a Saturn Again" and "Saturn Sucks-A Real Commercial for this Company". To close its N.Y.C. dealerships and parts of N.J. says alot about this company. It says they are going out of business. Which in my case is none too soon. They closed these dealerships April & May and no longer advertise their junk cars in the N.Y.C. market. I took these crooks to small claims court and recovered after suffering 4 headgaskets in 68K miles. My advice to anyone stuck with a Saturn is to take them to small claims court in your area and sue for the max. Unlike the Customer Service area in Spring Hill Tennessee, judges are smart enough to know that the consumer was bamboozled by this giant of a company. For the amount of the final repair to my headgasket, Saturn sent a lawyer 4 hours away from Albany to "fight my case" in Staten Island N.Y. Because this attorney was ill prepared the case was adjourned twice and finally heard the third time. So folks this is what you get from Saturn. They much rather pay an attorney for a 4 hour drive on three occassions than just fairly settle my misery privately. Hope this company and the rest of GM go out of business.

I am a previous Saturn owner so I know about this manufacturer. My advice is that even a replacement transmission will fail. It is due to poor design. Cut your losses and sell it with the bad transmission and get a honda or toyota. Saturn are garbage and the marketplace knows this, that is the reason they have poor resale value.
