I had exhausted all hope in receiving a refund. Discover stood behind them. Apparently a credit card company allows two disputes. Because I was billed two months for the $99, Discover counted that as my second dispute and wouldn't look into the matter again. I argued that it did not say I only had 15 days to cancel my "discount program," that it stated in 15 days I would be enrolled. Discover stood behind the company by saying I basically povided information that sided with the merchant! My two friends used Bank of America for a debit and a charge, BAM stood behind them and issued refunds! It seems that "Lisa" is the only Metabolfuel customer service rep you will ever get. I was never provided a number to talk with customer service. I could only e-mail and fax. And that got me nowhere, but frustrated. In all my e-mails, it did seem that if your credit card company issued a decision to side with you, they wouldn't pursue it. All she would do is state, "ma'am, you shouldn't have disupted the charge. We won't issue a refund because you disputed the charge. That's no way to treat a company." LOL!!!!!! By the power of the internet, search longer and harder. You need to go much higher than Metabolfuel's customer service (which doesn't exist). I would never have believed this person was attached to Metabolfuel. He was the kindest and nicest person you would ever want to meet.
