I have lived here and never heard of Itopia or Itopia management company having lawsuits filed against them..... again. call out the owner or the property management company.

To respond to your rebuttal:

I did not say that you were the one taking our money so you don't need to be involved with this issue. Good for you that you are probably the ONE AND ONLY owner who MAYBE doesn't SCAM people!

Because I still haven't received my $2200 security deposit back. I have a contract from the owner/realtor stating "If you decide against taking possession of the property within 5 days of this agreement, you will receive your full deposit of $2200". We decided on the second day not to take it and wrote an email, text messaged and actually spoke to both owner/realtor on the phone. We were promised the returned money order to be in the mail the next day. As far as management, I had spoken to them and verified the name of the owner/realtor and yes, true in fact it was an owner/realtor who took our deposit. Also, per management this has not only happened once at the ITOPIA complex, there have been several issues of SCAMS going on with the owners/realtors.

It has been a long line of calls etc. for 3 months now and now we are in the courts awaiting our lawsuit.

YOU CANNOT APOLOGIZE FOR THE SCAMS THAT INCURE BY THE REST OF THE OWNERS/REALTORS!

We have filed our police report and found a substantial amount of other lawsuits past and present against the Itopia Condos Community.

As far as I'm concerned after speaking with about 63 people in Itopia, this is not a good place to rent based on SCAMS and also safety and health concerns in these 30 - 40 year old apartments/condos. We had congregated for several evenings and the stories that were told about this place were horrible for living conditions also.

***This is something ALL PEOPLE take VERY SERIOUSLY when it comes to trusting to give your hard earned money for a rental and in the end YOU GET SCREWED!!!

***Also, after hearing about the dilapidated OLD CONDOS, bugs, mold and other issues, WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND renting at Itopia.

I am an owner.resident and landlord at Itopia and I am sorry that you are having issues with residing at Itopia.

However, please be advised  Itopia has an onsite managment company, however, they do no rent units at Itopia, nor do they/we have control over management compaines that a particular owner chooses to use to manage their particular unit.

In your complaint you make it sound that management of Itopia is ripping you off and they are hard to get ahold of and that they wont refund your money, etc. Again, not true. You signed a lease with an offsite management company and they are the ones that you should be compaining about.

As a owner and resident and landord at Itopia I wish you would of been specific about who you were referring. As a landlord and own several units, I did not take your money or am I trying to rip you off. I work diligently at making sure that my tenants are happy with their decision regarding renting from me and living at Itopia.

Again, I am sorry that you feel the way you do, however, have you approached the property manager? Maybe they can assist you with contacting the agent/owner who you rented from?

You made a statement in your report and it is confusing?  We had even met with them in person so how is that for a SCAM!

As an owner I would like to know what company is causing you to feel is ripping you off as it reflects poorly on my community. There might be something that we can do to contact the owner and let them know that the particular company they chose to use is not reputable.
