I want foreign exchange that invests in foreign markets so when the dollar collapses because of the derelicts in charge, my money and retirement is safe, and exempt from there greedy taxes, you know ,like GE etc. Would SPDR DJ International Real Estate ETF - be a good example? Or do I have to cash out and go overseas with a bag of money and open an account?

We understand that you are looking for foreign currency bonds.
While we currently only offer direct bond investment for domestic bonds, you are able to access foreign markets through mutual funds or ETFs. Keep in mind all these investments are held in US dollars.
You can use our screener tools to find these foreign fixed income investments.
Scottrade offers three free research screening tools:

A mutual fund screener, and
An exchange-traded fund (ETF) screener.

Mutual Fund Screener:

You are trying to put away your asset in order to avoid any capital gain taxes? Well, that's why the company does not want to directly involve because it could back fire them later, so they simply tell you where to look for. If you cannot understand it, it is your own problem. You already know that hiding your assets in foreign countries is a work around (but could be illegal if you do it wrong). So it is up to you, not them.
