SCOUT RELOCATION - MOVER MAX ***unlicensed** CROOK, GANGSTERS, SHOULD BE BEHIND BARS CAMPBELL California
Do not book this company of crooks. We packed all our boxes, and agreed with the estimator to have only one box from the company--for a stereo. They had my husband sign a blank form (illegal count 1), then filled in $4500 worth of packing charges--including charging for hundreds rolls of tape that they just left, unfinished, lying around the apartment (and it's not legal to charge for tape).
Then on delivery, they showed up 8 hours late and were moving the stuff in way into the middle of the night--like 2 am--the police showed up because we refused to pay the bill and the movers tried to make out like it was our fault. "they signed the contract so they have to pay" everything was broken (despite the insane amount of packing) and my plasma TV never showed up at all.
They use lots of different names, like Scout and mover max. For more info check out the local news piece on these scammers, and their PUC licence is suspended for scamming people.
The owner/manager "ron" is autistic i think and cannot speak english at all, when i called other companies to ask about them they said that the owner escaped from israel and is hiding here in the US. Here's a link to the PUC website : do not hire them!!!!!!!!!

Bad business tactics from competitive companies

As the owner of the company I can confirm that we have not moved any customers going to or from Milpitas since the summer of 2008. We definitely have no customers coming from or going to Milpitas in the last year. This person has put bad reviews of us on several different websites such as yelp.com with moving dates that do not match. We believe this review to be writtin by a competing busin ess owner in order to improve his own business by hindering the peoples beliefs about the integrity of competing companies. Whoever it is has several different alias's and can be identified by checking the customers buddy list on yelp.com where this person has left similar reviews about several local moving companies that could present a challenge for this persons company. These accusations are false and should be strickin from this website pending further inquire. As for our company, we believe in keeping fair prices for the average citizen especially in our nation's current economic crisis. Scout relocation will allow this to continue expecting reprecussions to occur because we believe good business tactics are essential in operating a successful establishment. Scout Relocation is to professional to respond in the same fasion and expect to be around to continue satisfying our customers with our superior customer service as well as our remarkably competitive rates.
