Complaint Review: Seacrets - Ocean City Maryland

You can't afford it. You're blowing all your money on crab cakes from seacrets every weekend, winter and summer. I mean, you're going 60 whole blocks every weekend for crab cakes from seacrets that all of the sudden are horrible.

Cut back on the crab cakes and you could afford some gas :)

There are thousands of posts where people are trashing the OP. Yours is one of them. People reply to the posts that are ridiculous and without merit. The resturaunt posts you see with no replies? Those are the ones that we thought had merit and let them stand. Your post has no merit. It doesn't even make any sense.

if this resturaunt was so horrible, why would you ride 60 blocks to go to it? I guess it was a great place to eat until they didn't want to let you eat there. Then all of the sudden their food sucks and their wait staff sucks. Don't you see how ludicrous your claims are? You would have had a lot more credibility if you hadn't gone on and on about how great this other resturaunt was. We don't care how great the other place is, this is RIP OFF REPORT, we want to hear about how the buisness ripped you off. Not your review of this great new crab place you found.

You are clearly very very new to how this site works.

I found your report while skimming through the latest ones. All you said was 'bike' and then mentioned 60 blocks. What point would it make to even mention it if you were talking about a motorcycle ride? Were you trying to imply they should have let you in because of your 'long' ride?

Fact is, if you post a complaint that sounds suspicious there are many regulars on here that are going to call you out on that. Your later comments pretty much destroyed any minute bit of credibility you might have had.

If you can't deal with critical analysis then don't post.

Look at every other Rip Off report on dinning establishments. There are hundreds of bad ones listed. None have multiple people sticking up for the business owner who treats their customers like crap except Seacrets. Go read all the Yelp reviews or Google. Same exact stories over many years. But instead you blame me? Seacrets sucks I told exactly what Seacrets did and how they acted so why on earth are you on here trashing a contributor unless you work for Seacrets!!!

I can assure you none of the people responding to your report are even aware of where any of where any of us live let alone being the same person. 

You see, what happens in these kind of sites is that if anyone disagrees in any way with the original poster, they are immediately accused of being an employee.  That's why many of us put a disclaimer in our responses.  Clearly, people like you still can't comprehend that someone may disagree with them.

If you'll notice at the top of the main screen here, there is a "latest posts" link.  If anyone is interested in reading them, the latest ones are available.  The reason I (I can't speak for anyone else) read them is because some of the absolutely ridiculous things that people post are very entertaining.  Ones such as yours.  Give it a try, I think you'll agree.

I have never seen a consumer attacked on Rip Off reports for reporting a bad customer experience. I have never seen any consumer ever take the side of the offending establishment. Repeated attacks that all have the same spacing at the bottom then a disclaimer on all the attacks saying "I don't work for Seacrets" or I have no Idea where Ocean City Maryland is etc...  Look at the spacing and style of writing. All three posts are the same. The same general theme. The same author using different email accounts to post attacks on honest criticism. Pathetic!!!!!!

I would never go to Seacrets knowing there is better food all up and down coastal highway!!!

Sweetheart, a ZX-11 doesn't have pedals. It's a motorcycle. No I do not work for any other establishment. I think it is incredible that as soon as I post something someone new has a rebuttal within hours this time on the same day!!!!! I get an email every time there is a comment so just keep saying what you want and I will keep setting the record straight .Seacrets must be desperate to manage their online reputation like this. FYI if you read other rip off reports 99% do not have any comments from "other consumers". It is real obvious you are trying damage control. Good luck with that!

I guess this resuraunt was the best resturaunt in the univserse for you to bike ride 60 blocks. You clearly loved this resturaunt until you were turned away for your clothing. Then the food is crap and the employees are crap etc etc etc...

Your story has a lot of issues with it. why don't you come clean about your story? Did you used to work there and are dragging this place trhough the mud? Do you work for the new place and are trying to diss on the competition? The fact that you spent half your report going on about how great the new place is lends even more suspicion to your entire report.

Sure you don't work for Seacrets. You just happen to have an opinion so strong on behalf of an Ocean City Rest. that you decide to stick up for them less than 24 hours after it's posted? It's funny that on all the negative Google reviews they have almost instant rebuttals from "customers" saying the exact opposite of what the negative reviews stated.  They have dozens of complaints about their doorman just type in Seacrets and read the Google reviews. You will see their doormen act like complete assholes to dozens of people. Thank you for calling me sweaty, however I don't pedal my zx-11 that hard buddy, nice try. Look up zx-11 and you'll figure out why your comment makes zero sense. Is this this off duty cop/special ed doorman? Seacrets staffed by assholes and run by assholes. I do not work for Dead Freddies but am just so happy we found that place. Went there this weekend too. Again that place was packed, don't know about Seacrets.When I say go out for a "good meal" it means sea food crabs etc. Yes the food at Seacrets the weekend before was dry and not so good. Yes Dead Freddie's food is far better and it is our new place for Saturday night seafood. Seacrets has an onlie reputation for dry jerked chicken etc.. Just read their Google reviews. Seacrets is also known for being over priced. Yeah if you like to ride bikes in O.C. there are also no cops waiting outside of Dead Freddies to ask you about weather or not your exhaust is "Street Legal". Just another bonus of this new place. Hell go anywhere other than Seacrets my friend. Try the Blue Ox. Their BBQ is better than Lenexa Kansas :)

Maybe they were just being polite instead of saying they didn't want people in there that were sweaty and had body odor from a 60 block bike ride. There may be many online posts about this place but yours is the only one on here. Since you keep mentioning a competitor it makes one wonder if this isn't made up. Also, one one hand you said your Saturday meals were good but now you rail against the food quality. If the food kept tasting stale and dried out why did you keep going there? It doesn't take a visit to another place to validate if something tastes stale or dried out.
