I just read a post about how Citibank messed up someones credit rating by stating they owed more then they did, and they had to settle, etc. I have been there. I am going through the same thing with Citibank right now. The "Customer Service Reps" are SO ignorant and rude! They cussed me out and called me inappropriate names. I made a double payment one month, just to get this card paid off sooner so I don't have to deal with them, and they still called me stating I hadn't made a payment. So I had my bank take care of that, since on my bank statement it showed the payment and the payee.

I never had a problem with Sears until CitiBank took over. I have closed out both my Sears Premier and Sears MasterCard, both of which I have had for over 5 years. I even had to change my phone number because they would call every hour harassing me, and would block their number on the caller id, even when I was UP TO DATE on payment. What is the deal?? I urge anyone who has a card that goes through Citi Bank, to document everything, be careful, and if you can, close it out and go elsewhere.
