Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am a property manager and in one of my properties the washer broke down.  I went online and found my best deal at Sears Outlet.  I went through the process and purchased it.  When I put the address in they charged me extra money for delivery, as they said because it was outside of their normal delivery area.

They were supposed to deliver it the following Monday and call me Sunday night.  I received no call on Sunday so I called Monday morning.  After 3 calls to the store and the delivery company I found out it was put on a truck and then taken off.  The store told me "We're sorry but we made a mistake, the delivery company only delivers to Venice on Wednesdays.  Tuesday evening when I ddin't get a call, I called the store.  The assistant manager told me at this time the delivery company doesn't go to Venice at all and that he had a smaller private delivery company that would deliver it and that the store would pay any difference in the cost of the delivery.  He also told me the delivery person would call me by 10:00am the next morning.  I called the store at noon and could not get the assistant manager on the phone.  I then call the delivery man with the number I was given and he told me he was ready to deliver but the store refused to pay him the extra cost of delivery.  I then called the store back but couldn't get the assistant manager or store manager.

I proceeded to call customer service who refused to help in any way.  They just said that they can't tell the store what to do.

I then found the phone number to the corporate number and call them.  After 3 hours on the phone to them, talking to about 5 different people, I got nowhere.  I came up with suggestions for them to make good but they refused to help.  In the end the upper management said they will call the store and instruct them to refund my money.  He said it would take 7-10 business days to refund my money.

I proceeded to call my bank and put through a dispute on my credit card.  The bank did issue a temporary refund while they investigate so I could purchase another washer elswhere.

Through all this I had to keep apologizing to my tenant who was furious for having to wait so long.
