Surely, without verification that your order was at a store you didn't drive around aimlessly from store to store? If you did, then you are insane. I ordered a front loading washer/dryer from a well-respected big box outlet last December. It took almost 3 weeks to actually get them. Take a chill pill!!!
No rip-off here!

Dear Bryan steamin mad,
I saw this post and want to apologize on behalf of Sears for the problems that occurred when you tried to purchase a washer and dryer on searsoutlet.com. From your post I can see that this was a source of great frustration in that you neither received the items you paid for, nor could you get your money back after the order was supposed to be canceled. Sears would very much like to help resolve this matter. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and it seems we have not met that goal with you.
My name is Laura with the Sears Cares Escalations team and we are a single point of contact for escalated concerns. This means we step into a situation and handle it start to finish with one Case Manager. At your convenience, please contact my office via email at [email protected] so that we may address the concerns you related in a timely manner. In the email, please provide a contact phone number and the phone number the washer and dryer were purchased under (if different than the contact phone number) and we will call you directly. Also, in your email, please provide the screen name (Bryan steamin mad) you used to post on this site, for reference to your issue, and we do look forward to talking to you soon.
If any other viewers of this thread need assistance with a Sears related issue we want to hear from you as well. Please do email us at [email protected] with your contact information and a brief description of the situation and we will be glad to assist you.
Thank you,
Laura D.
