Seaworld (aka) Anheiser Busch ripoff dishonest racist womenizing degrading company. Orlando Florida
After six years of employment with Seaworld, I suffer from what doctors call post tramadic stress.
But the derogatory, racist, sexist, rude comments never stopped.
The N word, along with the C word and B word were a common accourance among my department. Leading by example was not going to work within this company. I never felt so degraded In my life. Upper management along with human resources were notified many times of the short falls of this said security dept. On most occasions it fell on depht ears, or they chose to put there head in the sand.
After five years of working under these conditions I decided to do something about it. EEOC was contacted and after a full investigation, I was given a letter of right to sue. And during this time my superviser a male, was given a severance of money to never have contact with me.
During this time Ive had to endure many doctors visits, hospital visits, and even surgery to offset the stress and trauma I was put under. Mounting to thousands of dollars in doctor bills. Because of my physicians advise I decided to resign my position as security sergent of Seaworld.
This is just the tip of the iceburg of what I had to endure. Im still trying to contact Rev Al Sharpton to see if maybe he would be interested to hear my experience of working at Seaworld.

I came across this randomly while on here, and felt the need to respond. I am a former Investigator for SeaWorld in San Antonio, TX. I know, shared ideas with, and interacted with both the Orlando and San Diego SeaWorlds directly many times. I know the company codes of conduct (being an Investigator, this is incredibly important) and think that it is completely unlikely that:
A. Your Supervisors harassed you for years without anyone else having similar issues. You said you were a Security Sergeant, a position in which you would have had to interview for and been chosen over others. That means that you had a Shift LT. and Captain, as well as Security Director, pick you to get the promotion or job in the first place. It is very unlikely that those same people would then call you the N, C, and B words directly and at work, or at all.
B. That your complaints to Human Resources went on deaf ears. That is incredibly unlikely as well, since matters such as abuse were dealt with directly by someone in HR who's only job is to hear such accusations. Investigations would have also been aware of the situation, and I find it doubtful that the Fox Team (Orlando's Investigations) would risk their positions by ignoring 5 years of complaints.
C. You say that all the stress from working at SeaWorld caused you to have surgery? Please explain to me what sort of Stress Relieving Surgery exists? And if working at SeaWorld was the only thing causing stress, why would you not look for employment elsewhere? If you had the qualifications to get promoted to Sergeant at SeaWorld, what was stopping you from going to a different theme park or security company?
In conclusion, I am going to have to assume that your issues are largely attributed to your own personality and choices and now feel the need to try and take money from a company that likely provided you many opportunities.
