i also used to work for this office and i know who yout talking about. cptn Garcia is not a friendly person and shouldn't be thought as one. she is the same person that told me to leave my uniforms on site when i was transferring and told me they would be picked up and brought to the office by the on site SGT. he picked them up and never brought them to the office. i now receive threatening mail from the company stating that they will report on my credit it the uniforms aren't returned and she wont help me track down the SGT who had since quit.

Worked there 3 months last year. Hired to be a site supervisor in Horsham at an office building that was under construction when they got the account. Never dealt with Luz. I mainly dealt with Deo and he was a good guy. Most times too busy to talk (about guard schedules and open post issues). I had 4 other guards assigned to the 168 Hour (24/7) weekly schedule on this post. I worked a lot of hours as well but i didn't mind that at all. I was in a tough spot financially so any overtime was welcome. Even with all of the work hours, double shifts and 20+ hour a week commute time. I did whatever Deo asked of me.. The only negatives I experienced were 1.) not all of my guard crew shared in the team effort. One younger guy always called out last minute (even though handbook regs require 8 hours notice) and no-showed/no-called a few times (and never got fired or disciplined at all). My main relief guy was awesome and bent over backwards to help me out during when I desperatley needed time off for travel to the branch but he had a family as well and I didn't want him to be disenfranchised with the job. It was me and my relief guy who covered the bulk of the 168 hour/week schedule. I loved th O/T however, I needed some weekend downtime to recharge my batteries for the next 60+ hour week without getting called from the site on Saturday's and Sunday's to cover someones no-show. And 2.) I did my best to keep the ship running over there but Deo and the schedulers would screw things up for me at every turn. They took guards off the schedule without my knowledge. They filled in replacements that were late most of the time or not even aware that they were assigned to a certain shift (so I wound up working plenty of doubles). Every time I requested supplies (Incident Reports, timesheets) they took weeks to send them down there. For the most part the problems were miscommunication related. But after enough complaining through the chain of command things slowly began root in a positive direction. I never had problems with payroll errors, I've heard about payroll problems in other branches but I never experienced any myself. I resigned 3 months after starting only because I was unsuccessful in finding a permanent place to live and getting enough $$ for a vehicle. So yeah, the compensation ($22K /year maybe 30 with O/T) wasn't enough to get out of my problems but that's the going rate in the business. Never heard of guards/supervisors making $50,000 year. Only branch managers get that compensation. In the short time I was there the branch treated me decent and fairly so I don't have too many complaints. I've worked for worse organizations in the contract security business in the 90's where you really were treated like an expendable idiot with a uniform at 5 to 8 bucks an hour.

Thanks to the great work of the Rip Off Report, people are beginning to see that PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANIES like Securitas, The Wackenhut Corporation, Allied Barton and ALL OF THE REST are NO place to work --especially run the way they are now. My cousin who wasted 20 years of her life in that EXPLOITATIVE, DISCRIMINATORY, LYING, THIEVING, ABUSIVE HELL has dedicated what is left of her life and I know that others in my family have ALSO dedicate their lives to WARNING OTHER PEOPLE about NOT WORKING FOR THESE LOUSY PLACES. When you have the huge amount of readers that The world-famous RIP OFF REPORT has, IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE AND THE TRUTH BECOMES KNOWN! Take six million readers a day who see the TRUE articles about ANY and ALL Private Security Guard Contracting Companies and multiply each reader by about 50 other people or more and you can see that WORD GETS OUT. You, yourself, google the things written about private security guard contracting companies on THE RIP OFF REPORT and YOU tell ME, would YOU have ever gone to work for one IF you had read about them HERE FIRST? IT IS ALL TRUE! My family members have LIVED THE NIGHTMARE! And because THE TRUTH IS KNOWN, PEOPLE 'S LIVES RE NOT BEING RUINED BY LYING, FALSE JOB REFERENCES, THEIR PAYCHECKS ARE NOT BEING SKIMMED AND THEY ARE NOT BEING DESTROYED BY WORKING FOR THE SCUMBAGS THAT MANAGE AND OPERATE PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANIES. Young men, the main people who work for these creeps, have wised up and joined military service and the various governmental law enforcement agencies where they will at least have SOME EXPECTATION OF BENEFITS AND APPRECIATION for having served. YOU HAVE NO AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE OR BENEFITS OF ANY KIND IN THE TYPICAL PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANY! THEY WILL PROMISE YOU ANYTHING BUT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAY THERE LONG ENOUGH TO EVER GET THEM --- OR THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO CHEAT YOU OUT OF THEM! When you are being confronted by danger on your private security post -- YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR EMPLOYEE STEALING YOUR MONEY FROM YOU AND BACKSTABBING YOU AND RUINING YOUR REPUTATION BY LYING ABOUT YOUR JOB PERFORMANCE AND THEY ALL DO! I have dealt with people like this martinet guard captain and they are usually a woman and they are usually a minority member ( I CAN say this because I come from a DIVERSE, MULTIRACIAL AND MULTICULTURAL FAMILY BACKGROUND MYSELF!) and they are just tokens --someone that the security company can trot out to show EEOC that they do NOT discriminate against minorities and women because LOOK HERE, HERE IS OUR FEMALE MINORITY PERSON who has MADE IT! ONE SHOW PONY doesn't mean that it will be possible for OTHER WOMEN AND MINORITIES TO MAKE IT and for these folks, there is no way out ... This TOKEN gets away with all sorts of abuse of power because it has gone to their head but as soon as the heat from EEOC and threatened discrimination lawsuits has abated, THIS PERSON WILL BE CANNED TOO AND THEIR REPUTATION WILL BE DRUG THROUGH THE JOB REFERENCE SEWER TOO... "When we hire THOSE PEOPLE, they never work out." So now, when EEOC comes calling they have PROOF that they hired a minority member who also happened to be a female and they have statistics to PROVE that this person did not work out so they replaced her with a white male or sometimes a "Hispanic" male... This poor lady does not realize that she is just a disposable pawn herself, a paper tiger set up so they will have something to show EEOC that they do NOT discriminate... THIS IS FAKE. With $10 and those captain's bars or any other collar insignia from a private security guard contracting company, I, too can buy a cup of coffee anywhere in town. YOU ARE RUNNING SUCH LONG HOURS WITH FEWER PEOPLE BECAUSE THERE ARE FEWER PEOPLE WILLING TO WORK PRIVATE SECURITY JOBS! THEY ARE RUNNING OUT OF FOOLS WILLING TO TAKE THE SECURITY JOBS FROM HELL! And another thought for you. There might have only been three guards there but HOW MANY GUARDS WERE the client's corporate office REALLY BEING BILLED FOR AND WHO WAS GETTING THE MONEY THAT THESE IMAGINARY GUARDS WERE BEING PAID? I would turn these people in to your state's LABOR BOARD or the nearest office of the FEDERAL WAGES AND HOURS for forcing you to work mandatory overtime --ILLEGAL UNDER FEDERAL LAW!! All that would have happened to you is this Captain or whatever would have taken great pleasure in destroying your self confidence and probably cursed you out an FIRED YOU IN A MELODRAMATIC WAY. They can not refuse to give you your last check and you need to discuss THAT with your State Employment Commission as well. DO NOT WORK FOR PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANIES. WHAT MADE YOU THINK THEY COULD PUT YOU IN JAIL? Did you steal something? Did they file criminal charges on you? Do you have outstanding warrants? I don't understand how you think they could put you in jail for nothing! Sounds like to me they are trying to cheat you out of your last check because THAT IS HOW THEY ROLL... Other people wanting to work for this SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANY FROM HELL TAKE NOTE AND DO NOT WORK FOR ANY OF THEM! OR ELSE THE KIND OF ABUSE HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ---AND MUCH,MUCH WORSE!
