I encountered the same problems at Securitas as a feamle. They insult your intelligence and they do discriminate. You can add to that list Special Operations Associates or SOA in Las Vegas where they do discriminate against females. Short your paychecks, deny scheduling once you bring dicriminatory practices to their attention and do nothing about it. Disability or not, these companies turn around and deny unemployment Compenstaion and get away with it. One supervisor told me on my off day while dressed in coveralls that: "I looked like I was going whoring." That's when I quit after seven years working there. Employees are denied breaks, cannot leave their posts to go to the bathroom, unless someone relieves them and it is counted as a break. These vindictive supervisors and managers will not respond to you on radio calls andwere trying to force minorities and women onto the graveyard shifts to not be seen or heard from. Until EEOC aggressivly goes after companies like these this reality will remain a fact of life unjustly.

When I read this report of the most obvious and blatant DISCRIMINATION of RACE and GENDER, I was IRATE! ALL private security contracting companies in the United States are like this --unless a woman is the wife, girlfriends, mistress, daughter, niece or relative of the OWNER or SUPERVISOR or WHOEVER THE MAN IS WHO CALLS THE SHOTS! I noticed the Private Security Industry Contracting Companies becoming more and more rabidly SEXIST and RACIST about the time that George H.V. BUSH came into office, although they were starting to get BAD under Clinton's regime. After all, if all Clinton thought women were good for was to (CENSORED) and (CENSORED) do you REALLY think he is going to stand up for their EQUAL RIGHTS TO ANYTHING -- especially at WORK? I read this and it is VERY TYPICAL of what ANY WOMAN can expect in the PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTING INDUSTRY! ANY WOMAN. They like to persecute women who are in minority ethnic groups like African American, Mexican American and older women especially. Not much is being done to help this lady either. Securitas is owned by a SWEDISH company so maybe they don't HAVE to OBEY AMERICAN LAWS concerning EMPLOYMENT! Patrol is one of the most sexist and racist divisions of private security that you could possibly get into. I could fill this entire web site with what happened to me. FIND ANOTHER FIELD WHERE YOU WILL BE MORE APPRECIATED! GET A PELL AND GO TO SCHOOL! GET AS MUCH MONEY OUT OF THOSE SORRY SOBs SO YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORK AGAIN. ANYWHERE. ESPECIALLY FOR A MISERABLE LYING. DISCRIMINATING,HATING, DISHONEST PRIVATE SECURITY COMAPNY AGAIN! SECURITAS IS THE WORST!!! They should at least pay for all of the counseling that you are going to need after the mental anguish that they DELIBERATELY put you through. DO NOT WORK FOR SECURITAS. They can't man their private security accounts if NOBODY is STUPID ENOUGH to work for them. And to think that the EEOC will not do anything about what happens there and I experienced some horrifict stuff when I worked for them where they were Burns International Security Services and American Protective and Wells Fargo Security. Pinkerton's only hired African Americans here but they were also bought out by Securitas and they started harrassing the African Americans... Did you know that Sweden was an ally of n**i Germany during WWII? A SWEDISH CORPORATION OWNS SECURITAS! Nazis were all about women becoming chattel prisoners in their own home with no education and the only places they were allowed to go (other than the death camps, unless they were well-connected) were Kitchen, Church and Children--the more children they had the better... NOT unlike the Taliban... Still want to work for SECURITAS, ladies? Read what Ms. Michel-Wiggins has to say here because it is ALL true --and things like this don't just happen only at the Securitas in VA!

To Dina, My advise is to get another job in security. There are plenty of jobs in the security feild. Securitas may be one of the largest security company world wide, but it's not the last resort. It's not your fault that the company hire derange people and give them a title and a badge. Obviously this Fletcher guy is on a power trip. I bet he's a robo cop wanna be. And Fletcher is taking his anger out on you because he couldn't get a decent job. I bet he's mad because that's the only job he can get. He might had low self-esteem or somethings wrong with him. This Fletcher guy should remember, what goes around, comes around. I might be mistaken, but Securitas is an "At will" job. If he got rid of you, they can get rid of him as well.
