Securitas Security Services USA Ripoff Fraudulent Behavior Harrassment Violation Of Company Policy Discrimination Savannah Georgia
This report not only includes myself but two other Securitas security guards. We feel that we have been wronged. It all started with our Branch Manager Ricky. He informed us that he wouldnt unless he had to promote a women.
He says that women are emotional creature and cant handle the job. He wants ex military men to run his sites here. That is the first complaint because how can we move forward if he wont allow us?
Second on our job site I worked where all the guards call in and we record the times they arrive on their posts. We then sign our names and that is the end.
I noticed that the people that had been coming in late that their times were being changed. So I watched it for a couple of days and noticed that it was happening daily. So I reported it to Mr. Ricky. He told me not to worry he would take care of it.
The other 2 officers also started watching and noticed that fellow officers were leaving the site on the clock to pay bills and we reported that due to compnay policy.
It wasnt two days after I had reported to Mr. Ricky That I came to work and found the pictures of children torn up on the desk. When I questioned Officer Stinson about it she informed that is what happens to snitchs.
I informed the General Manager at this time and was told it would be dealt with. But the times were still being changed. When Officer Stinson would walk by me she would say b***h. And this went on for several days.
She would stand in the doorway of the post and not let me back into the guard house after many excuse me's she would still stand there. So I was left in what ever weather there was. I went home one day completely soaked to the bone. Because it was raining really hard outside and she wouldnt let me in.
She would make statements like you know what happens to snitch's dont you?
The straw the broke the camels back is I cleaned up the office for the next officer that came in. Usual post precedure. He walked in and said where's your God **** Dar I have to see right now. I told him I placed it on the counter with the other DAR's (because I work 3rd Shift) and everything has to be cleaned up well he screamed and cussed me out. I said I was sorry, but I was told to put it up at the end of my shift. he said he didnt give a god ****.
I called the office and reported this. Said again it would be taken care of. The next day the same thing happened. So I then reported to the office for a tranfer. Was told that as soon as a new Site Manager was out there I would return to that site.
Well Officer Stinson went around the site telling everyone out there that she fired me because I was a thief. I mean where in the world did that come from?
Well the new site supervisor got there and I returned. All this happened within a 2 week period. And mind you I have been fulltime on this site for 7 months. Except for 2 weeks.
Officer Stinson informed the new Manager that I was only parttime help so I lost my position again. He said that because I was only part time help he couldnt help me. Well I informed of what happened and he said. I dont care. My supervisor said other wise. I mean come on this is what happens when you try to do your job right? well ..
Well today I recieved a call that S\o **** and s\o ****** and s\o ******** were now only parttime help. After all of us are excellent Officers who are always on time, been with the company for ever, and have a history of excellent service.
I feel that the Discrimination steps in because we were full time and now we are part time. And we are 4 of the 6 white officers out there. All our other officers out there are African American. So now there are 16 African American officers and 2 white officers.
Every move made to management to try and fix these problem have resulted in a major backlashing at us. Management refuses to help and it has made the workplace unbearable. We have several excellant officers out there but due to the problems and the chance of it coming back on them. No one wants to say anything anymore. Everyone is to scared.
Now I have lost my job because I cant afford to feed 4 children on an 20 hour work week. All I wanted was for the illegal things that going on to stop because when I signed on. I took my oath seriously and one of our core values is Integrity.
If I hide this kinda behavior what does that say about me?

If you maintained good documentation, a daily journal of who, what, where, when, how and possibly WHY these things happened to you and you can produce witnesses to the same, then you have a CLASS ACTION SEX DISCRIMINATION SUIT. Take all of the evidence and take it to the EEOC which is a governmental agency that handles this sort of thing. I have to admit they haven't filed too many cases where i am from bt things might be different where you live. But they probably have all of the cards stacked in their favor. One thing that rear eschelon people in the armed forces learn and learn well is HOW TO BACKSTAB and CYOA! And they don't care who they hurt. There are a lot of men in Security who just DO NOT LIKE WOMEN! Period. No way. No how. And they seem to be increasing steadily in numbers. My advice: GET OUT AND STAY OUT OF PRIVATE CONTRACT SECURITY WORK! It is NO PLACE for intelligent, literate, articulate people to be anyway unless you are doing mercenary work overseas and can retire on what you make there! Or else you will be putting your life together from a gutter like me after wasting 20 years of my life in the vile business. I wish I had known it woul dend up like this. I was having fun and LOVED my job and the danger and the excitement... THIS IS HOW IT ENDS!

Hi there, I think security companies are incompetent and are run by a bunch of morons. You have every right to report the ethics violations that this company has done. I'm sorry that you lost your job and there are better ways to support your family. You can make better money truck driving or anything else you desire to do. Good luck to you. :)
