I saw this ad on Craigslist: Security Guard positions available in the Wall Street District Manhattan, & in Downtown Brooklyn. These jobs require No Experience. The starting salary is $10-$17.00 per hour. Full benefits. No H.S.or GED needed Green card/work permit okay. IMMEDIATE HIRE. We are looking for parking lots, front door, back door security guards. A Female picked up when I called, took down my name and phone number, then Mr Wayne Called me back from 718-289-8002 and told me to come in the next day to the address:4121 29th st Long Island City NY 11101 with two forms of ID and 90 Dollars. Non refundable for background check. I felt suspicious and searched this address, and found a posting about the 80 dollar rip off. I will Not be going to the appointment.

Your EMPLOYER IS SUPPOSED TO PAY YOU! YOU NEVER PAY TO GET A JOB! IF THE PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYER WANTS YOU TO PAY HIM, LEAVE! IT IS A HUGE, POPULAR RIP-OFF! NOT A JOB OFFER! REPORT THIS GUY TO THE AGENCY IN YOUR STATE THAT LICENSES PRIVATE SECURITY AND PRIVATE INVESTIGATION COMPANIES! ASAP!
