Former Disgruntled Employee

About 1/10 of the information contained in the review of this former disgruntled employee is accurate. The other 9/10 is incorrect and fragrantly misleading.

As is so common in most situations, the old ad dish is “there are two sides to every story “ is where the truth shall be known.

The truth lies in the fact that I have been in business for over 39 years.

I would not have been in business this long had I been dishonest or dishonorable to my employees or clients.

When one has been in business for as long as we have, I am quite surprised that I do not have more unfavorable reports or reviews considering the thousands of clients and numerous employees we have served over the last 39 years.

In reality, it is the employee who has made this erroneous review that actually owes money to us.

This former employee has had numerous jobs and employers within a very short period of time.

It's no wonder that I am not the only person who has had problems with this person and wish I had never allowed him to become a part of our organization.

Although, you can never fully satisfy everybody all the time, we have tried our best to work out a satisfactory and reasonable resolution with this unreasonable individual.

It's unfortunate that so few can taint a good reputation when we have helped and satisfied so many others in the past with our superior service and honorable methods of conducting our business affairs.

As the original accuser, I wish to amend the accusation I have made against this company to include the judgement that was found against them in my favor.  I AM disgruntled as Howard claims, as I had done all that I needed to part ways, and request the money he collected from my personal income to line his pockets.  It has been 3 years now since my resignation, and over 6 months since the judgement.

He refuses to pay it, and wishes only to cause me more time and money to collect by now having to take this issue to the state of Michigan where he has assets and collect by Sheriff's sale/collection.

This is one of several court actions against Howard Barron, Barron Associates, DBA Security Mortgage.  The judgement can be viewed here:

http://oris.co.palm-beach.fl.us/or_web1/details.asp?doc_id=20055582&index=7&file_num=20140051650

It is hoped his claim that this is vague and without detail is now determined to be exact.  His claim the BB is a better means of determining character is bogus.  This for-profit company reports nothing to consumers until the company itself pays the BBB to report.  Seems to be a conflict there.  What scammer wants to pay for accurate reporting of their scam?  It is hoped Howard is successful, so that he does not feel the need to keep what is not his.

Though the original rip-off report was written by an anonomous, I can say that what was written is accurate and only describes the unethical and illegal activity of Howard Barron of Security Mortgage Corp d/b/a Barron and Associates, or whomever name or corporate veil he tries to hide behind.

The company will be answering allegations by myself, a former empoloyee in 2010 and 2011.  The small claim I filed in Palm Beach county, FL was to have my reserve account returned to me after a 2 year waiting period.  His claim is that I did not honor my 2 year conract, and is holding my reserve account hostage because of liquidated damages.  I resigned and he kept the money he claims he needed to collect form all in case of fraud or loan buy back. If the required 60 days from resignation was prior to the 2 years, he will attempt to keep you from originating claiming that violates the contract and his no compete clause... 2,000 miles away I am somehow hurting his business.  Shame to come upon him.

He hides behind the corporate veil and if you sue, he will try to have it dismissed under a technicality.  He hold this money with the full knowledge he cannot if taken to court, as I have spoken with others who have sued and won.  It is earned income and not his to hold or keep.

And he does work outside the law with issuing Calyx multiple times and sends a CD knowing it is cheating and stealing.  But as an employee, what is one to do?

These Comments were made by a disenchanted, terminated Loan Officer who owes my firm a large sum of money.

The compliant offers little information in supporting his or her claim. If this was truly the case there are many avenues to pursue such a cause. Unless that individual has a lack of evidence or is afraid to go to court because of a counter-case against him/her. I would suggest finding a better choice for consumer information to not only protect consumers but businesses as well. The Better Business Bureau offers a fair channel for any conflicts between a business, former employee, or consumer.

If you are considering doing business with this loan officer I would advise you to check on their references. Consider their constant employment changes, their reputation of being difficult to work with and the complaints from their clients.
