I used this Network ripoff of the poor for 2 years. They have been charging me $60.00 per month for my medicine. Thirdy dollars of this $60.00 is for there membership fee and the other $30.00 is for 3 medications. Not bad price but, they are suppose to be FREE. Well I did my own home work Called each phamaceutical company. I was told that my medicine is FREE and I should not have been charge anything for them. So I called SCBN to Cancel my membership, I was told to fax a letter telling why I wanted to cancel. Which I did. I told them I wanted to cancel because they have been charging me for 2 years for medicine that was FREE. Now I get a letter telling me that I have to pay them $120.00 to get out of my membership and to return my medicine to them. And If I don't do what they say they will take this matter up with collections. How can this happen when people are having hard times. I am the only one working right now in my home. My husband lost his job and we are just making by. I am so hurt that I have been used for the last 2 years, They have been stealing money from me and they want even more money.

Hello Virginia,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have looked through our records and I found that you are a member of ours that recently mailed in a letter to close out your account.

I reviewed the history of your membership and see that you used our services for over two years and received thousands of dollars of medications free from the pharmaceutical companies. We acted as your patient advocates and made certain your drugs always arrived or we took action to make certain that we received what was needed to get the companies to send your next shipments. You only paid Select Care for membership services and for us to act as your advocates, your drugs were always free since you qualified for the Patient Assistance Programs. You contacted us in July of 2007 and requested our assistance with the Patient Assistance Programs and you even signed a contract saying you understood the services that you were paying for. Recently, you decided to try to act as your own advocate and do the processes yourself. I completely understand your thinking, but you will most certainly run into difficulty as you do all the work that we performed for you these last few years. I wish you luck in the future in procuring your medications. I am glad that Select Care saved you thousands of dollars over the course of your membership. If you ever need help again, please do not hesitate to call us.

If you would like to contact me directly, please feel free to call me at 512-406-5057. I have also gone ahead and mailed you a copy of your signed agreement with us to remind you what it is we all agreed to.

Sincerely,

Brad Williams
