My A/C was scheduled to be serviced with a company I have been with for 26 years; however, due to the recent heat wave the freon ran low, it was'nt cooling, my regular service company wasn't able to come that day.  I made the biggest mistake in my life; I called Service Doctors (A/K/A All Time Service).  I had to call 3 times before someone was able to take my information (first sign that I should have moved on); 

I had two (2) locations that needed emergency service.  I was told, the first location was scheduled btw 1pm-4pm; the 2nd location 3pm-6pm.  A 4:30pm I called to find out where the Technician was; I was told he was running behind and would be here within the next hour; at 6:00pm I called and was told it was the same Tech to service both locations.  I told their Rep that I had to leave the 1st location so his tech should report to the 2nd location; at 6:30pm the Tech called he was 30 miles away.

At 7:30pm I called again - no answer; at 8:15pm a Rep called and said the tech was on his way; this guy showed up at 8:45pm in the dark; I told him what the problem was; he just stood there instructed me to turn off the A/C came back inside and said the freon was very very low and he would cut a deal; the company charges is $700.00 to add the freon; but I also works on the side and his charge would be $500.00! 

I was shocked and told him I have NEVER paid so much to add freon for the past 4 years; we already knew there was a pinhead hole/leak.  The continued to say that they don't make that kind of freon anymore and the price had tripled! the place was hot, I was now comotose by what I was hearing and I should have asked him to leave.  However, regrettably I gave this guy my $500.00 to get the freon. 

I immediately called some friends and family and the ALL said it was a ripoff!  This is so wrong! I am 59 years old and works d*mn hard for my money and this company is allowed to stay in business and now have unleashed their Technician to also get into the game and ripping off people they are supposed to be providing services to?

I am so mad at myself but still  I am afraid that they might come back to my location(s) and try to sabatage my units, as I have seen other complaints. Now I am consumed with guilt as to how did I allow myself to be ripped off!
