Service Magic ripoff, sells dead leads, sells leads that are just madeup! Golden Colorado
This company is one of the biggest scams around. They got me for a $99 sign up fee, said no one else is in my area to perform HVAC work with in the service magic network, and that I would have 100% of all leads in my area.
Sounds Great, well it was to good to be true! Leads they sent us NEVER generated 1 penny!!! Leads they sent us were either old, or fraud. One of the leads we called for system replacement, lived in a new home that was only three weeks old, and said "nothing is wrong with the system, and they have no idea what we were talking about" in addtion they have never heard of SERVICE MAGIC.
So the question is were do all these great leads come from?? I have been a HVAC contractor for over 30 years, and never had leads as bad as these!! Service Magic has sent my account to a collection agency now, and legal action is being taked by them against me! Can you beleive this!
The sales people at SERVICE MAGIC are all liars, they told me my first 10 leads would be free for signing up. They Lied! They have lied about every aspect of the program they dreamed up. They are the biggest scammers. A friend of mine sent in a service request for HVAC in my area, he had 67 contractors respond to his request!
67 responding??? They must of said "Hey we have a real lead!"
What a scam, something should be done about companies lie this!
