Joshua McNaughton, a teenager, came to our door selling magazine subscriptions and a story about 'earning credits'. He had an identification badge, company information and a brochure of magazines available (most were well-known), all of which seemed legitimate.

Wanting to help a young person with some initiative, I placed an order. Luckily, I kept the receipt.

Realizing I hadn't received the magazine within the estimated 120 days, have tried locating the company, Services Unlimited Plus. It doesn't exist, apparently, since this forum is the only InterNet reference I found.

I did, indeed, attempt to contact the company. The phone number on my receipt wasn't connected and I could find no address. I did an internet and the only reference I found was this website- and various reports against Services Unlimited Plus. Despite the growing number of reports there are at this website, I will try the phone number and website you mentioned to see if I can get any satisfaction. Thanks in advance. Updates as they occur.

I HAVE A SOLUTION

I have a solution to your problem, Adnan. Its the same solution that I have been preaching about this company for months. JUST CONTACT THE COMPANY. Are you really so lazy that you can't call the company, their phone number (1-800-536-4704) will be on the receipt, right next to their website (www.servicesunlimitedplus.com) where you can e-mail them if calling is too troublesome for you. Both of these methods have proven to get results for me. I have had nothing but excellent sucess in dealing with this company directly, and cannot understand why you would take the time to write your report without trying to contact the company first. I see that you attempted to contact the L.A. Times office, I can't understand why you wouldn't try to contact the company through which you contracted the subscription. By writing your report, all you have done is add another unfounded complaint to the list that are already in place. If you were really concerned about this, I believe that you would CONTACT THE COMPANY DIRECTLY.

Since then I got no paper. L A times consumer office have no record of money paid for subscription.Am I was ripped off? Is there any solution to get my money back?
