SHABAZZ GENERAL CONTRACTORS ANTHONY SHABAZZ, TERRY FLOWERS took my money, messed up my floor and did a botched job and now hides CHICAGO, Illinois

i hired Shabazz general contractors to move a cabinet over enough for me to put my refrigerator in the space made for it. on 9-15-09 Anthony Shabazz (773)-317-2922 contracted Terry Flowers(773)-577-4502 to do the work and the price they came up with was $225, i agrred to this and had them begin the work and was assured by Anthony Shabazz the work would be completed in a neat and proffesional manner
Terry Flowers came over and measured the fridge, then the space for it in the cabinet structure. he had to chisel up the tile around the base of the cabinet to move the cabinet over 1 inch and a half and put a spacer in the gap. Terry Flowers and myself finished up the work in a few days, i also include myself in this because i did about half of the work, including helping him move the cabinet physically,and having to go over his sloppy wood staining and wwall painting myself. after he put the tile down around the cabinet base, which was the only piece of tile i had left matching this floor and told me to let the grout dry for a day or 2 and move the fridge back over
However,when trying to put my fridge into the space it would not fit. Terry Flowers measurements were off my a quarter of an inch and had to tear up the tile , move it over a little more and basically do it all over again. the problem really came in because tearing the tile up which was the last piece i had meant he had to go buy more tile. they dont sell this tile in singles so he had to buy a whole box. after months of Terry Flowers and Anthony Shabazz acting like the tile was impossible to find and even coming over with red tile that was 2 inches shorter than my tile and trying to put it on my dark chocolate floor, i went out and found it myself in less that an hour. i called Anthony Shabazz and told him where it was and he went to the store to put a deposit down on the tile
i was promised by him to have my work done by the next weekend which would have been feb 6 2010 and as usual Anthony Shabazz goes into hiding once again. if you need any work done and you see Anthony Shabazz and Terry Flowers coming to do it, run like hell, they will only do a bothced job try to hide and hope you forget about it. i have aso reported this company to the better business bureau. its been almost 6 months now and i still have a hole in my kitchen floor
