Complaint Review: Shauna Marie Greika - N. Myrtle Beach And Myrtle Beach South Carolina

...I wasn't the only one taken in. I bought a sword for over $100US from PureWhiteCat some time ago and, of course, received no item. To those who post about this as "tattling", kindly do not comment on what you no nothing about. The more people know about this person, the better. I contacted both Ebay and Paypal numerous times, with no resolution. All I can suggest to those taken in is to file a complaint of Fraud, which I did. After a lot of paperwork and general annoyance, my money was refunded, so perhaps it'll work for you.

I happen to know that Shauna and Antonio are currently in Las Vegas and Antonio is in jail. her current phone number is 702-553-9475

Jessica, I had the SAME EXACT experience as Rory with purewhitecat. I went through the same issues with EBAY and and Paypal and received no satisfaction. I also received the bankruptcy letter from their attorneys. PureWhiteCat sold united cutlery knives and swords on ebay. I purchased several that were well below cost. I didn't know how they were making a profit from me at the time. I purchased from them several times. They had a policy, clearly stated on their ebay notice, that they do not ship for 30 days after the end of the auction. Normally, I would receive my shipment about 45 days after the end of the auction. In 2003, I made my last purchase from PureWhiteCat. I waited my 45 days but received no product. I then sent friendly emails. I checked their website and saw their back order list. I was on that list. Since I was still in the system, I waited. After 60 days, I started further emails and phone calls. The first or second time I called, I got an answering machine and I left a message. After that, the answering machine was turned off and the phone would just ring. I called several numbers and received nothing but ringing phones. I put alot of time and effort into trying to contact these people. Furthermore, the hours I spend working with Ebay and Paypal were fruitless. Both agencies would not do anything unless they were able to contact PureWhiteCat, which they were unable to do. Jessica, I take offense at your response to Rory's entry. Both Rory and I had spent many hours trying to contact PureWhiteCat and would have liked nothing better than to confront the seller directly. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so. After exhausting all available resources on getting my money back, the only available recourse left is to tell your story to others so that they may learn from your unfortunate mistakes. This is not "tattling", this is warnings to others.

If I were Rory, I would have been on the phone with this phone number the minute I learned it was theirs. And until I recieved my payment reimbursed to me in full I would continue to call, not giving the person time to have the number changed by filing reports about them without their knowledge. For you information however, I am aware of just how big a problem this is, hense why I am browsing through the reports and happened upon Rory's. The fact remains that an immediate and continued confrontation with the party involved will get you futher than "tattling". What is the point of investigating to these extremes if you arent willing to confront them? You have to show them that you are serious and will NOT simply go away!

I have not encountered these people and glad that Rory had the initiative to post all of this info on them so I don't; but people who steal for a living do not stay in one place long once they have the "whistle" blown on them meaning they do not keep current posted phone numbers, addresses as you can see by Rory's investigation....the more time that went by, the more addresses they listed, more names involved to cover theirs, etc.

Rory, I can understand that you are upset, but I think it is more of an revenge tactic than it is getting your money back from these people. If you have this much info on the crooks,such as the phone number you listed, why dont you personally call her? They wont know how upset you are until you speak you mind to them one on one. Just a suggestion.

Rory, I also was ripped off last year, around January or February 2003, by Shauna. I requested a refund, then petioned EBay to rectify the situation, and also Paypal. Both Ebay and Paypal, who say that they offer 'insurance' in these case, did nothing. I was then contacted about 7 months ago by an attorney for Shauna saying that she filed for bankruptcy. So I've written off my $185 she stole from me. Hope this helps.
