Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have never dealt with more unscrupulous, petty, judgemental and downright evil people than those at Spellmaker, The Voodoo Boutique, Sheer Goddess or whatever they are calling themselves now to stay one step ahead of the law. Samantha Kaye, Mambo Sam, Rev. Corfield (Real name: Debra Edwards, look up spellmaker.com on WhoIs.net to see the information) is one of the biggest frauds on the planet. Along with Merrilee, (Real Name: Mary Lee Stein) and the rest of the spellmaker minions, they go out of their way to steal money from their clients through their spells and psychic crap, and if you are unhappy and nothing works out, well, they tell you, it's your own fault and don't come to us crying about it.

Long story short: I used their garbage for a year trying to get my ex back. Not only did my ex NOT come back, everything got WORSE. So, I spoke with Mary about it and she said that my ex and his new woman would not get married, didn't love each other, he'd come running back to me. The wedding will be called off, it will all work out in my favor. All I had to do was buy more spells and beg the "spirits" to help me. Debra in her "Mambo Sam" guise told me the same thing. Neither one of them could understand why my ex was with the other woman and what he saw in her. Guess what? THEY GOT MARRIED! Now, the other woman is expecting their first child in two months. Everything bad that could happen did, the OPPOSITE of everything I wanted to happen, happened.

I wanted to die, tried to kill myself and when I told them and their forum so, they went out of their way to embarass and harass me. Debra told me to go die somewhere else, you know, so as not to discourage anyone from buying their crap spell kits. Mary then replied that killing one's self over love (keep in mind, she told me he was my SOULMATE and possible LIFEMATE, but of course, she tells EVERYONE that) is the "lowest form of cowardice". NO, you know what is the lowest form of cowardice and the lowest form of humanity? Scamming people out of money when all they want to do is be loved. All they want is to make amends with their former loves and are so lost and in pain, they will turn to anyone and anything for help. Some poor soul tried to defend me and all those who were suicidal, but the frauds at Spellmaker couldn't care less if their clients died. Another client landed in the hospital as well. Who knows how many people have actually died after their failed attempts at getting their beloveds back, that went unnoticed by the callous Spellmaker workers. One day, though, if they keep treating their clients like excrement, Spellmaker may be on the receiving end of a HOMICIDAL former client, not a SUICIDAL one.

That wasn't the only time the good "mambo" went on the attack. Anyone who calls them out on their BS is threatened with her "dream team" of lawyers. One of her psychos, that went by the name of "syren1234" spread lies about forum members to other message boards, just to see what trouble she could start. Spellmaker is a cesspool of freaks and cult followers who do anything the "mambo" says, even if it meant killing someone. And though Debra and Mary have made their names public, they keep telling their clients that all information is kept confidental. However they have purposefully slipped up and used members' real names as well as discussing cases with other members (as has been discussed on here before).

Spellmaker/Sheer Goddess doesn't care about the human element behind their screens, just as long as they keep getting that money. They are all a bunch of c**ts who need to be brought down. Not just here, but at the Better Buisness Bureau's website: http://bbb.org. Go there and search for spellmaker/The Voodoo Boutique, and you'll see that they have an A+ rating! THIS MUST BE CHANGED!!! Put in your complaints there as well to give them the F rating they deserve! We must ban together to stop anymore hearts from being broken and others from taking their lives because of what The Voodoo Boutique/Sheer Goddess has taken from them. They take your dignity, you self-respect, your hope.

I believed in false prophets (and their profits) and now I don't have faith in anything because of them. I lost the love of my life, who has now gone on and started a family with that other "person" (who was/is so evil herself, you'd think she worked for Spellmaker!) and now I am left lonely and devoid of happiness. But I'll be damned if I let someone else go through what I went through.

I scrolled down to see that you replied to this post, claiming how "sad" you were to read such "terrible, untrue comments". Give us a break. I didn't read your post, because you have nothing to say, plus you don't have any power over me or anyone else here who has finally seen the Emperor has no clothes. Yet, our words obviously have power over you, because you keep coming here trying to shout down the truth. You're obviously nervous about others coming to their senses. If you were secure in your company, a few "disgruntled" posts wouldn't bother you, and you'd be content to ignore them and run your business and take care of the customers you still have. Makes one wonder if you're losing more customers than you'd care to admit to. Plus, if you have all of the power that you say you do and your products are real, our words can't/haven't done any damage to your business...unless of course your products/"skills" are FAKE. Hmmm?

Everyone knows that these internet "psychics," "spellcasters," or whatever they claim to be are nothing but people who try to separate desperate people from their money! They will say whatever the victim wants to hear in order to string them along. It's so sad when someone turns to these charlatans when they are depressed & desperate, instead of seeking real help. There are no psychics or spellcasters out there who can MAKE people feel the way you want them to feel. The best you can do is be happy with yourself, keep a positive attitude, and create your own destiny. Depend on yourself! Don't trust ANYONE whom you have to pay in order to cast some imaginary psychic "spell" for you. I could accomplish the same thing (i.e., NOTHING) by waving my arms & yelling to the sky, "He will now appreciate her!" C'mon, Debra - cast a voodoo spell on me now, I dare you! Hahaha :)

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, June 25, 2007

In response to this awful "report" I have to say that it is just so hurtful and untrue. First of all, we have NOTHING to hide simply because we are opening a new company: Sheer Goddess. We are not "formerly" The Voodoo Boutique, we still are! Just to simplify bookkeeping and other matters, it was easier to make The Voodoo Boutique a subsidiary of Sheer Goddess. We don't need to stay "one step ahead of the law" because we haven't broken any laws! If you think that opening a new company and parenting another company is illegal or in some other way subversive, then you need to go learn something about business. I suppose you think that Colonel Sanders was a crook because his company is owned by Yum! Brands and so is Taco Bell - I smell a conspiracy! Good grief... how ridiculous. As to us wanting our clients to commit suicide: Again, do you realize how you even sound? What company would want their clients to commit suicide? Does that even make sense? If I am the money-grubbing howler monkey you make me out to be, wouldn't I want my customers to stay alive so that I can get more money from them? The bottom line about clients who want to commit suicide is that we cannot allow other clients to help them via our forum: NOT ONE OF US is a mental health professional qualified to help people with these kinds of problems. We must refer them to professionals, and we do so. Additionally, you should watch what you say as your own post borders on threatening my life and I could potentially bring charges against you. As to my name: BIG DEAL - like you found out a secret??? I have explained my "name status" on numerous forums, including my own. Samantha Kaye was my grandmother's name and I took it as a lightworker name. Debra is/was my "legal" name though no one actually even uses it, not even my immediate family. Edwards was my maiden name and when I got married in 2005 I took my husband's last name, Corfield. Wow.... that's spooky, isn't it? As to client confidentiality, you know darned good and well that the only slip ups I have ever made was by using someone's first name and I never, EVER discuss other peoples' cases with clients except perhaps as a general example of something that was similar to their case to illustrate a point. I am sorry for sounding so sarcastic and disgusted in this post, but I am disgusted. I have done nothing wrong. My life has been an open book to my clients. Any and all are welcome to come and meet with me. I humbly apologize for any and all REAL shortcomings that I have. No, I am not perfect, but at least I am not an unhappy, unfulfilled, person who has to try to make others miserable to make myself happy. I truly, truly feel such heartwrenching sympathy for you, for the sad and petty little life that you are leading. I will pray for you. Love and light, Debra (Samantha - Mambo Sam) Corfield The Voodoo Boutique (A subsidiary of Sheer Goddess)
