Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company is the worst! It is a shame to say but after a long string of good experiences with other online websites this company has killed it for me. As a result, I did not go to any length to research this company before making my purchase.

After reading a fellow posting i found through a popular search engine i felt like i was reading a mirror image of my own horrible experience with this company. I purchased an Antique Diamond Wedding Ring Color F Clarity VS-2 0.58 Carat 18 K White Gold for what was listed as a sale price of $499 marked down from $740 what i received was a similiar style with a carat weight of .32 listed on their website at $450 undiscounted.

When i called the customer service rep (mike ext. 135) he explained to me that "there was a similiar order placed the same day for the smaller carat weight and the orders must have gotten mixed up". Well, i could smell this coming but, for lack of wanting to believe that i was getting duped i thought "who knows maybe it really did happen?" i didn't want to take any chances so i immediately had my fiance 2 day it back to the company with a required signature.

I proceeded to contact Rudy Morem who is the proposed manager at this location. After a few minutes of talking in a circle and asking me if "i like" the incorrect ring he sent, Rudi notified me that they never had this ring in stock. WTF??? Never had it in stock? Then proceeds to tell me i can wait 4-6 weeks so they can make the ring i already paid for in full or i can pay an extra $200 dollars for an upgraded ring. SOUND FAMILIAR???

I have since cancelled my order and faxed over my receipt from FedEx for reimbursement which, Rudi claims he has received only the cover letter to but not the actual receipt copy. WHAT? I am obviously fearful of the final outcome but i will repost with any updates. Here is a copy of the last email this A-HOLE sent!

Honest Mistakes Happens - This guy has over reacted

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Here is a copy of the email that I sent this customer : From: cservice Subject: RE: order # 4776 To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 11:28 AM Hi Anthony, We spoke on the phone once, I believe I mentioned I had a good friend, Sandy ***** from Nutley and that we hang out occasionally at Terraza's. I am one of the owners here and have been monitoring your conversations with Rudy. I am sorry that we made an honest mistake and shipped you the wrong item. It was in fact, probably my fault, as I fill the orders. The .32 ct wedding ring is a very popular item, and we sell 5 or 6 of them a week. It looks almost identical to the one that you purchased. When filling the order, I went by the picture, and grabbed one of the rings that we are always selling. I didn't read the description. The was no scam, no bait and switch, just a simple mistake. Now it seems like you are on a crusade to tarnish my reputation, for a mistake that we corrected. We refunded your money, apologized for the error, and refunded your return shipping costs. I would appreciate if you would remove your post from rip-off report, as agreed. If you are unable to do this, please revise it to indicate that we made a mistake, and made every effort to correct it and refund all of your money. We did not "rip you off" or anyone else for that matter. Sorry for any inconvenience, Scott Cowan Chief Operating Officer _______________ This buyer returned the ring, and sent it "overnight" for a cost of $26. He could have returned it more cost effectively. He then sent us an email that says : From: Anthony DiPrimio To: SHENOA & CO. - customer service Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2008 3:06 PM Subject: Re: order # 4776 If you send me the promised reimbursement amount of $26.63. Once i have cashed it i will remove the post. He did not remove this post or keep his word, so I guess HE ISN'T so BELIEVABLE after all. Thanks for reading, Scott

Update on the Status of My Experiences with Shenoa

#3Author of original report

After some bickering back and forth and LOTS of threats i have received a refund for both the item i ATTEMPTED to purchase and the shipping cost (minus a $1.70 handling charge from PayPal....which i can live with!) I am posting the email correspondence with the representatives from Shenoadiamond.com. I have not altered these emails (other than my contact info to retain privacy) so you can judge for yourself. Since i did eventually receive my refund i thought it only fair. And due to lack of time and being a bit lazy i'm not going to rearrange it in reading order so this should be read from bottom to top. It is an interesting read and probably worth the 10 min. Enjoy! My experiences with your company should be known by other consumers. Just like the saying goes "Buyer beware!". In my honest experience and from what i have read from other postings these events that took place seem to be an ongoing thing from your company. My time and money are both valuable commodities to me and i don't like to be fooled by a sham business. Take a good read at some of the posts on RipoffReport.com. When i read them before posting my own i thought i was reading a mirror image of my own experiences. HONEST MISTAKE YOU SAY? You must think all consumers are complete idiots. IF your manager had graciously apologized for having made such a GRAVE mistake when it occurred i would say maybe but instead he offered me a secondary inferior replacement option for AN ADDITIONAL COST. And then after your representative Mike told me your company would refund ALL shipping charges your manager Rudi decided i had spent "too much" on shipping. Here is his email: "I know your story, I did not forget...my only question is why we have to pay $26 and who is the reprehensive that authorized this overnight shipping?" Rudi And here is his next response: yes but who authorized the NEXT DAY $26 ? I understand $5 even &10 but my boss is not going to pay $26 because you decided you like next day the most expensive shipping... Rudi Excuse me? How bout i would "like" to receive the ring I PAID FOR IN FULL! But don't worry Mr. COO keep sending me these wonderful emails. This is all good material for my next posting! --- On Tue, 11/18/08, cservice wrote: From: cservice Subject: RE: order # 4776 To: adp525mma Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 11:28 AM Hi Anthony, We spoke on the phone once, I believe I mentioned I had a good friend, Sandy Elliot from Nutley and that we hang out occasionally at Terraza's. I promise you that everything you write here will be posted on RipoffReport.com exactly the way you send it to me. Second, no one told me about a "limit" on the return shipping amount. I was told by Mike that whatever the cost of shipping it will be refunded to us. Then when i spoke with you over the phone on several occassions you assured me the same.
