Sherman Deach S.Royal - Long Shadow Ranch Quarter Horses buyer beware - not honest about the horse - lie!!! Roy, Washington
I too feel that a horse I purchased was misrepresented by S. Royal or Sherman Deach as well as Leigh Mathena. Found a beautiful horse on dreamhorse and was told it was beginner safe. Wanted a horse that young friends could ride, my young nieces and nephews. Sherman said he bought this horse for his grandkids and they lost interest. This horse bucked a couple people off, and could have easily killed them. He was afraid of being alone and seemed very afraid of men. He had the worst ground manners after a couple days of owing him. Very different from the horse I went and saw. The horse I met was calm, easy going and not spooky. We had to put this horse in training and spent a lot of money fixing a horse that was suppose to be SAFE. Fortunately, he turned out to be a good horse, but unfortunately we did end up selling him because he was NOT the horse that was advertised.
