Shield Star Warranty Does not honor home warranty contracts they sell Internet
This company is to be avoided at all cost, they simply don't deliver on their contractual obligations. All calls are forwarded to a answering service but calls aren't returned. They sent out a plumber to look at my leaking hot water heater, I paid them the deductible and the tech said "good luck collecting". The answering service lady says she gets many irate calls from people who are ripped off. They have an F- from BBB and many complaints against them. They need to be shut down. I have filed a report with MD attorney General consumer protection division. No one from Shield Star has called back nor has the company replaced the leaking hot water heater.
