Shipco Transport, Inc. postal scam Hoboken New Jersey
Received a letter today from a person who calls herself Rita Howell detailing how i had won $100,000. from a second quarter sweepstakes that dealt with Readers digest, Publishers clearing House , Online Sweepstakes and Internet Games. I am disabled, so it really surprised me because i do enter sweepstakes and play games online. The check they sent was for $3,989.00 I gave the opened letter and check to my husband to look at. The check actually looks fairly real? He went straight for phone number and there was no answer. Then he went online and found out quickly, this is hooked up to another scam, Spoke, that runs in the back ground. When you try to find out where this Shipco Financials is really located, Spoke comes up and they are located in San Mateo, California? Long ways from Hoboken, NJ!
There ought to be some legal punitive action that can be taken against these people, frauding through the United States Postal Services and using fake fictious letters, or checks to entice people to contact them?
I hope my posting here will, or does help someone else out? Good thing my husband is not one to be fooled, I might have actually called them myself.
So, this is a Rotten Finacial Scheme-stay away from them!
