Cancelling your Visa was the best decision, to keep them from thieving more money. They stated it would take 3 to 5 business days, so there is possibly still time to send them a handwritten letter. Since they're shady, you might require a "Signature", so they can't deny receiving it. Recap the phone conversasion word for word, and of course save your own copy. Specify a date, detail a grace period (optional), and then explain the consequences of no reply. Possible consequences: report them to the law, plan a lawsuit or whatever you are willing to invest for resolution. Call that television station, that ran the informercial. Of coarse, they post a Disclaimer before programs like this, stating that "This Station does not aggree or represent the product or corporation of this informercial". blah blah blah They still need to be informed, and need to reconsider their decision to invest air time into fraudulent activity. You may even want to consider them, in terms of collecting the refund. At the least, for the sake of helping others, it would be helpful to prevent others from this type of Rip-off. Ask the TV station for a scedule of times when this specific infomercial will air, and make it clear you will be making a global announcent at this web site so that other consumers know when to avoid WATCHING their television station! You know they probably won't cooperate, but the request in of itself is a potential influence. Share a copy of your Rip-off Report, so they might be aware of possible bad publicity. They might reconsider airing future episodes. Hope this helps.
