I happen to be looking over my current statement from my bank today and noticed charges that I had not authorized at all.

Shopping Essentials, Rx Savings and Auto Hotline. I added up what all three companies had taken out of my account and found it to be over $200.

I then got out my previous statement, and, guess what? Found out that they had also taken out the previous month the same amount.

When I called shopping essentials and put in all of my information.... twice, I finally spoke with a women who said her name was Tee and her number was 19756. After I asked her why they had taken out the money out of my account when I had not authorized it she kept trying to sell me on this product saying that I could save over 200% on all of my shopping needs.

After telling her three times that I did not want it and asked to speak to a manager, she finally sent me to another woman who said her name was Lois and that her number was 8407. I told her that I wanted the two charges they had taken out of my account put back into my account today or I was contacting a lawyer, she started yelling at me that I could not threaten her.

The auto hotline I found out took out of my account... two months in a row.... $69.97. I had to call them and have them too to put back the money, and again a third time I had to call Rx Savings to get the $14.95 that they had taken out of my account three times put back in.

When I contacted my bank to put a stop to these charges being taken out of my account they said the only thing that they suggested I could do was to close out that account and re-open another.

I do not feel that we should have to be put through all of this aggravation when we do not authorize these people to go in and take money out.

They have caused my account to be overdrawn, and then my bank has charged me a total of $300.00 for overdraft fees that you know these companies are not going to give me back.

What does anyone suggest that we could do? I have had it up to here with all of this.

Please someone out there help us, the little guy with these companies.

Kathy
