Signet Auto Warranty, Signet Capital Corporation No Refund after five years of waiting! Vacaville California
In 2004 I let the car dealer (Ken Garff Honda in Orem Utah) talked me into an extended car warranty on my 2004 civic hybrid that was backed by Signet (Phone 877-4 SIGNET). I was told $1,100.00 was refundable at the end of the warranty period of five years if the warranty was not used. We moved to a new home in the five year period and when we called to get a refund I was told I only had 30 days to file a claim for the refund from the time of 5 years after I had purchased it. No notification or expiration notice was sent and I missed it by a few days so,, THEY KEEP ALL THE MONEY when no warranty was used!! This is a Huge RIPPOFF!!
It is the car dealerships that need to stop selling this kind of crap! Yes, I missed asking for the warranty refund as specified in the contract paperwork ( paperwork I do not have) but the only way we will stop them from selling this crap is if we stop purchasing it!
