The owner is so full of himself. He hides behind his senior managers and could care less if there is security in the Silver King communities. They are not CRIME FREE and there is a lot of illegal activity in the communities.
He is an ostrich, and no way in touch with the realities of what is actually happening. I share the same feelings with many, many residents that live in his parks and we are agree he is just plain stupid by not getting involved with his customers concerns.

I third or fourth those remarks.
Silverking is a shortsighted, greedy company that raises the rent every year, more than a NYC slumlord. All they do for this is lie to the tenants about what they'll do for the extra hundred grand or more they get every year, then have the manager do a little free-labor cosmetic work.
Eventually they drive out the older, fixed-income tenants that have cared for the place and kept out riff-raff for decades. Then the park fills up with strangers who don't care, druggies, and theives. But what does Greedyking care? They've made their extra loot and can sell the park to another greedy company when it deteriorates too far. This is a stupid and greedy company with no foresight or concern at all.

You won't get a fix in a Silver King Community. We evict drug users at the first sign of drug activity.

This complaint is garbage. Silver King Companies operates high quality manufactured home communities. The level of occupancy is very high because people want to live in them. The properties are run professionally and are very attractive. The facilities are maintained to the highest level which is appreciated by the residents. Rental rates are competitive or below similar properties. Visit the properties and see for yourself. The ranting is from one person who was probably evicted for non-payment of rent.

That's a thoughtless remark. Many of the old people in these parks are on a fixed income, can't sell their trailer to afford another, and are stuck. They just slowly go broke as the rent goes up every single hear, which is unheard of, so these greedygrabs can soak in the dollars. The author is right to call them GreedyKing. And I see this in other parks. I think it's something that's been going on for a few years due to the low interest loans that started in 2008. They were supposed to spur the housing market but backfired by being issued to rent-profiteers. Like many programs, instead of making things better they made them worse by driving old people out of their homes.

That's a dumb rebuttal. Many of these old women are on very low fixed incomes and can't sell their trailers. I've seen the for sale for years. They eventually have to live on dog food and roast in the arizona heat to save on AC thanks to the rotten greed of Greedyking. Greedyking is destroying communties that have been there for years. People move out so no on knows anyone else and the park deteriorates, but Silverking figures a rent is a rent even if they fill the place with drug dealers and crooks.
They Also cut services even though they increase rent. The only thing they do do, is have more regulations.
This rent raising has been going on in more than one park. It's actually an epidemic. After the 2008 crash interest rates were near zero, and companies that still had a big line of credit bought up parks and are raising the rent to the roof. I've never seen Any park raise the rent Every year like Greedyking does.
