The silver starlites are a horrible baton twirling program!!! they kick out girls whose parenats start to ask questions where does the fundrasing money going, etc.. these are a bunch of mean girls that never group up there are clicks etc, not family run like they try and say they are... if your not in the in crowd your just used until they see no longer a fit for you then they kick your child to the curb.. leavng them heart broken. they also order items and say they never got them to fruad others and companys. they turn other moms againt other moms. they only care about certain kids and dont offer lessons to those they dont like. they jugde and are not a even level group are treating everyone the same. they take donations from companys and use them for them selfs, they lie about what they use them for etc. very discused. they make you buy all these costumes warm up etc shoes etc them kick you out. they love to take money$$$ be aware they suck you in with an act them after a week or two your left to pay out all this money for them in a month or two kick you and your child out.

My daughter has been a member of the Silver Starlites organization for the past three years and I can state that none of these allegations made are true.  This is a great organization run by people with high integrity and honesty and strive for all of their children to succeed equally and without bias.   They afford opportunity and demand discipline from children of all ages, and are the true representation of what youth sports are supposed to be about.  I myself have been involved in coaching many team sports, with several different organizations, and I am proud to be part of what the Silver Starlites are all about.  Competition, class, and good sportsmanship are values in which they instill in all of their athletes.  The person who posted the original complaint has none of these characteristics, in fact, she has the opposite.  Lies and false allegations are easy to post, but slanderous accusations hold heavy consequences!!!!

False Report

The individual who wrote this report was asked to leave our group because she violated our specific guidelines that she signed when she joined the group. Specifically, she violated our website and Facebook use policy by posting pictures of another member's child on several public websites without that parent's permission. Further, it came to the attention of the group that she also set up a false raffle for her son's school and collected money from parents from our group. The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office has been contacted about this as well and is investigating. Lastly, the group also learned that this individual was using a false name to prevent members from discovering that she just got out of prison for check fraud and is a convicted felon with convictions for fraud and larceny in NY, FL and CT.

We have a very reputable group that has been in existence for more than 40 years. We have over 40 members who will tell you that our group is amazing. It is disgusting that false allegations can be posted without any confirmation. Our group is a not for profit under 501(c) and all of our finances are an open book. We work very hard to raise money to bring our kids to nationals and other competitions throughout the year. Please contact us if you have any questions about our group and we will gladly give you more details about this individual as WE are the victims of her fraud.
