Silverado Ranch Cleaners, Legend Cleaners Silverado Ranch Cleaners Admitted Fault but Refused to Refund or Repair Las Vegas Nevada
Silverado Ranch Cleaners accepted two of my designer dresses. Neither had stains or hard to clean areas. The dresses were worn once - one to a wedding and one to a club. The store hours do make it difficult for working people as they are only open until 6pm Mon thru Fri but they are open on Saturday.
I went to pick-up the dresses on a Saturday. One of the dresses was fine but the other was unsatisfactory. The dress consisted of tiny pleating from the bust to the hemline (knees). However, the cleaners took out the pleats. I requested for the pleats to be put back in as the lines were still visible just not crisp. The clerk said no problem and reissued a ticket.
I went to pick-up the dress the following Saturday and the pleats were not put in. I requested to speak with a manager or owner. The clerk stated that the Manager/Owner does not work on Saturdays but gave me her schedule. I called the Owner on her scheduled day but she was not in (big shock).
A few days later I was able to speak with the Owner. The Owner told me that to put in the pleats it would take eight hours. So okay...you have had my dress this long what is the problem? She also told me that the mistake was their fault but they would not be able to fix it. Her staff is not capable of repleating so I would just have to wear it as is.
Hello?? The Owner refused to refund the $13 to clean the dress.
--The Owner referred to herself as the Manager. The staff informed me that she is one and the same. She owns multiple Dry Cleaners under the name Legend Cleaners.
--Second clerk I spoke with used English when speaking with me. But once she called the Owner she switched between English and Spanish. Funny this is that I know Spanish. Great to know that the Owner was trying to avoid me - I did not let either know I understood the conversation.
