Sinister Monkey Ink Horrible encounter and service at a Tattoo shop. North Olmsted Ohio
Here is a story on a little Tattoo shop that just opened up not to long ago[Opened in December]. It goes by the name of Sinister Monkey Ink. There are a lot of shops opening up here and there because of the crappy economy. Hence why we need to watch out for crappy service.
Anyway, my friend and I were deciding on where to get her tattoo at for a reasonable price, so we decided to check out Sinister Monkey Ink. By the looks of this place I could sense that these people/workers didn't know what they were doing.
We looked around at the tattoo books and hanging placards of tattoos, she decided on a little cross with wings and a halo on her wrist [Very small, not a lot of detail to it]. Cost of the Tattoo $50. So, the person went to work on doing the tattoo, after it was finished my friend was a little unsure of it. She said that It didn't look like what she said.
After a few days of healing she came over to show me and honestly they messed up the tattoo completely. The one wing wasn't centered to match the other one and it was upside-down. Now in my opinion if you can't manage to do a simple tattoo like hers then you shouldn't be open for buisiness. My friend went back to have them fix it and they couldn't even do that, so she asked for her money back and they didn't give her back her money.
We went over to 252 Tattoo and they even said that they litterally butchered her tattoo, and they said that they would fix it for her. Honestly in my opinion I'd say don't go there, but if you decided to make sure you get what you want and be careful. Stoner hippies should NOT run their own Tattoo shop!! Thanx for listening.
