I responded to an advertisement on Facebook for a sample product. I paid $4.99 and received a sample facial cream. I suspected that this was a recurring subscription product so I immediately called to ask that any subscription be cancelled. I did not get a cancelled subscription email which should have clued me in. A month later, I received a charge of $94.94 on my credit chard and also received another facial cream. I am told that if I return the product, at my expense, I will be refunded the full $94.94. I plan to do this and hope that my credit card information will not be used for further fraudulent purposes. I have set my credit card account to reject any further charges from this company.
