Skyline Manufactured Housing caving in, Summer Hill in W V. Buyer Beware!
Bought new Skyline MH. 24" on center floor joists with some kind of particle board sub flooring. Flooring shakes in 5 out of 8 rooms. Kitchen especially bad. Base cabinets attached to floor, counter top attached to base cabs, back splash attached to counter top, As floor sinks further and further, counter tops are not level, back splash is pulled away from wall.. Numerous HUD Code Electrical Violations where noted by a private MH inspector. Company is tired of my complaints and I get a distinct feeling of being ignored. Two weeks now past due to receive the report of recommendations made by the private MH inspector. I quess since Skyline paid him, they may have told him not to send me a copy of his findings. In all of my 53 years on earth, I have never been so greatly ignored and insulted. I have never had a house, OF ANY FIND, fall apart like this and certainly never had electrical problems.Even the developer, Hunter Dev Corp dba West Virginia Manufactured Housing, Martinsbug, W V 25401 has entered by house and 'told me what wonderful things he has tried to do for me' and that I was not greatful. Buyer Beware! There are many items from our walk through which have never been repaired. Buyer Beware! NO ONE CARES after they have taken the money.....
