When I first visited Slim4Life Weight Loss Center, the rep (Stephanie) told me that the program used only normal, regular foods you fix yourself--no prepared foods to buy and that the pills where herbal suppliments that were organic and organic. I was told that the only requirement to buy were herbal supplements. I was given a first-time, one-time, sign up NOW, discounted price of $699 (total program cost $1,991) for a 5 month program with guaranteed 60 lbs loss.

I was ready to start that day, and charged my credit card for the $699 program fee. Then she I could not start immediately, as there was a 3-day detoxifying stage; then I could attend the nutritional meeting and learn the details of the plan on Monday. I was given the Starter Pack, which was pretty wimpy for the money I just forked over, and sent on my way to gorge myself on beef and only green vegetables, excluding peas and avacado.

I attended the Nutritional meeting on Wednesday, and at that time, a representative presented me with the opportunity to buy Supplements needed for the program. The discounted cost to me was over 1,000 and I declined, saying they told me there were no foods to buy (energy bars, pudding, and soup) and now they are showing me that each suggested meal includes one of their products.

I left. After thinking it over, pretty much knowing right then and there I had made a huge, expensive mistake. Stephanie called me to see about coming in to my nutrition class. I asked for a refund of money on the account that I was mis-information, contradictory instructions, and re-defined words, and that I could not have any confidence in the program. There are no refunds no matter what is what I was told. So now I am stuck with the program and out 2,700 dollars. Hopefully I won't have serious health issues because of the program.

I feel I have been lied to just to get me signed up into a program, which initially was to be 99 dollars, at least that's what the website says. I am on so much junk, processed food, food with artificial sweeteners, and suppliments that my body is already starting to feel it. I have only been on the program for four days!! I feel that the plan is starving me and that this is not a good way to lose weight safely and healthy. Guarentee it is going to starve me to get to the goal...starving will make anyone lose weight. I'm stuck and feel helpless.
