Smart living company, E Merchant Club They Conned Me Out of 600.00$ and More- Simi Valley California
To begin with let me say that I am a retired man on a fixed income and I can't work because of my health.So, I was looking for some kind of extra income. That's when I found smart living company website. Let me say their website everything they need to draw you in if you are person in my situation. So, I gave them a call and one of thier sales person call me back. He tells me that I am lucky, they have a special it was a free website. All had to pay is 29.95$ member fees. After looking at there site and what he said it sounded great except I told him that I did not have the tech. knowledge to run a website, and he says owe don't worry about it, it is easy. He talk me into it. He tells me that it takes 7-10 days to build the site, so I have to wait and I am still not making any money. They finally got it up and running and they say I'm the CEO of my store witch means I have full control over the store.
When I saw this store I could not beleave it, the store Sucked! It look like a child try to put it together. If I had all the advertisement that I couldn't get anybody by from this store. They had manuals and videos to help you run the store. I told them what I thought about the way the store was built and when I saw the controls that are suppose to manually can change thin gs in your store, when I saw that again, I don't think I could it.They told me no problem you will learn, Now, here's the catch, one their sales reps calls me a little after my site was working, he tells me that there is only so much I can do with the site I have now, you should check into a better one he shows me all these other site I could have. This one dose this and this one dose that and adds this and so on. He doesn't say anything about the prices.
Then he finally talks me into one of them. OK! that one will cost you 600.00$ the catch. well I say that is a lot of money. He says you can make more money with this site. I told him about my money situation, he says this perfect for you. Again I tell them I'm really not sure because I'm not very smart when it comes to the Tech. He says hey don't worry about it I have 80 yrs. old that have been doing for years. So, like a idiot I buy the website. This takes another 10 days. While I was waiting , I tied to sell some of their products in other places on the net. Even though I change them up all the time. Nobody wanted to buy! Once the new site was built I had problems with it right off the bat. I call support a couple of times and say just read the manuals and watch the videos. While this was going on they keep sending flyers witch were different ways of trying to get more money out me.Like you need this and this, if you want to bring more costumers you should buy this Finally I have a enough I want to cancel.. My point I'm trying to make is stay away from these company's. They will Conn you out of your money, I'm out 600.00$ and more. I am now trying to find away to get my money back!

I been a smart living member for 5 plus years. I made money in my first month. Like with any business this us not a MOM you have to market your business to make money and that takes money, think about this your website is like a very tiny pin in a very very huge 100 yard haystack. Unless you advertise/market no one will know you exist. In the last 5 years I made $100.000 plus. But it's your company and like a retail store that is in a mall or public it's up to you to drive traffic and sales to your website. If you don't know how to manage and run a company then it's your fault for not having the skills to be succesful. Smart living company with the new owners made it lot better then what it was. Most distributors has $400 to 1,000.00 minimum per month and they don't drip ship. I don't have any merchandise on hand when I get a order I hot a button on back end process order collect my sales money then it's done. It's movement living company fault that you signed up for your own business with out having the experience. People that knows t Business management and marketing is successful most of the time. I started with the small store free and every 2 or 3 months I upgrade I use the profits from sales to keep growing not money out of my pocket. Most cuts and states requires a home business permit and states requires you to apply for a sales tax license. Next time know your abilities. Operating a internet store is not cheap. Yes eebhosting is nice $29.95/ month I have 2 other sites not with Mac and hosting cost me $60.00 each month. Successful marketing can cost $5,000.00 a month an up. Per month instead my buying all that inventory you could of placed the order when you received an order. It's not smart living company's faukt. Let's say you spent $5,000,00.00 and a bank face you a loan to start a McDonald's and your McDonald's went out of business you would still have to pay the bank back. Business of any kind is a gamble smart living company is not a MOM you don't get paid with a downlink all the customers is yours and you always have to work on getting your repeat customers back and new ones. O am sorry you list a lot of money. But get you made the choice to go for it knowing you did not have funds to be suceesful. It took me 1 1/2 years with marketing at $1,200 a month before I started seeing a nice profit.
